That's really what the game is all about. If we went into every game absolutely knowing who was going to win, would anyone want to watch? Now, I prefer that the Cowboys surprise me with victories, but I never went into this season expecting us to win them all. There are always some surprise victories and some surprise losses. We're 10-4. I'm satisfied that we've had more surprise victories than surprise losses this year. And I hope we have at least a couple more in us to finish at least 12-5 in the regular season.

This doesn't mean I'll be satisfied if we're one and done in the playoffs, but if we jump to the end, we fail to enjoy the journey. So far, the 10-4 journey has been mostly enjoyable (except maybe for coming on here after both victories and losses only to find out that we suck and we're doomed). I have my hesitations about playoff expectations, but we're in the tournament, so it's easier for me to relax over these last few games and just see how we handle them.

Exactly. We could bet the field every year. I dont go into expecting a superbowl, but I don't close the door on the possibility. I let it play out and save the vast majority of my tears for elimination.

I was checking out there standings and they placed an ‘x’ next to them, which denotes clinching a playoff spot. Anyone else notice that?

Even their playoff picture has Dallas locked in the playoffs.

What gives?

Once Washington lost Cowboys were in post season. What is shocking is so many fans did not realize this. They said it prior to the Washington/NY game.

I don't remember any particular point in this season, thinking, 'man we sure have a tough schedule this year." It seemed more like to me that we did have a lot of weak teams to beat up on, and weak teams we should've beat up on but didn't. Seems like an easy schedule to me. How many measuring stick games have we had this year, where we could see how the cowboys measure up to the good teams? The Eagles matchup will be without Hurts so it seems like the schedule in a way has gotten easier.

what amazing me are those who do not think it is an accomplishment. No team in the history of the game has even made the conference championship without 1st being in the playoffs. You can predict what you want as far as how Dallas does in post season or not but getting to post season is still an accomplishment for every team out there

Everyone says we clinched when the swamp lost. I disagree. I think we clinched when Seattle lost on Thursday.

I haven't seen any evidence of a scenario that would contradict that.
