Ridiculous, the Ewok held out with TWO years left on his contract, demanded to be paid the highest for his position, and was in Cabo when his teammates were in training camp yet even he didn’t get this much hate and it’s not even May.

The guy who has done everything right gets the most hate while the biggest knucklehead punk on the team who held the team hostage until a few weeks before the season started got more support than Dak. Pathetic.

I hope Dak leads them along and screws them over right to the end. Lawrence did it, Zeke did it, now it’s Dak’s turn.

Goff took his team to a Super Bowl. Dak had a career year last year and the team finished 8-8.

Yup and they were in a superbowl they shouldnt have been in. Remeber the Rams saints game?

But ill give it to you, it doesnt matter if you lose. This is my stance with the Cowboys too, if they dont win the superbowl who cares how far they go.

So just take out 2018 Dallas has 30 wins to Rams 24.
With 2018 in Dak still has 40 wins to Goffs 37

The difference in 2018 and why The rams won wasnt because of Dak but because the defense couldnt stop the run and get the team off the field.

When you look at the entire picture and out it into context, there were so many more things why dallas didnt beat the rams that day. Not to mention Elliot was in a wreck the night before the game and played injured because of it. You just didnt hear about it because Jerry was there to cover it up.

Don't understand this Dak stubbornness. It is not like he is an elite QB who has just won or reached a Super Bowl. Dak is 1-6 against winning teams. He has had good games but the problem is most of them are against the weakest division in the NFL. He got exposed a lot whenever he faced decent teams (and even bad teams like the jets and bears).
Lots of questions around Dak's accuracy , decision making have surfaced . Now, his leadership is in question with this nit picking on the contract , why not take the 33-35 offer and make the rest in endorsements and future roles with the most valuable franchise in the world. His shortsighted and stubborn approach is alarming .

Like stephen said yesterday , the cowboys have not won a super bowl in a while and the fans and the FO needs to have enough money to divide amongst the talent to be able to win a superbowl. Otherwise, we are in the 8-8 9-7 vicious cycle. This is the reason dak is coming under scrutiny.
Why can't everyone see this .

I applaud this. Too many players using Cowboy platform and massive media attention to demand top dollar regardless of actual achievements.

Again, if the issue is simply years and Dak's camp is holding out for 4, then he's the one closer to being unreasonable than the Cowboy who see the benefit in a longer term deal for cap purposes, etc.

The difference between a 4 year deal of a 5 year deal could be $20 million dollars or more.

well hes not just an avg qb.

Everytime he's play the "elite" guys he's played with them or even better. He's outplayed Rodgers, Goff, and Wilson in his playoff games. Its not his fault the defense couldnt stop the rams or packers. Daks rookie yr he was great in close games winning on late drives. Then from 2017-2019 the offensive coaches tried to get cute and them close games started to go the other way.

Dak deserves to be paid higher than Wentz and Goff because he's played better and has out performed them. Its not his fault the market is overpaying QBs.
Both have helped their teams to a SB, Dak nothing, sorry at this point he isn't worth what either make..

It all depends on the structure. The money will largely be the same. The only difference is that with 6 years, the last two years carry little to no guarantees. What Dak wants is a 4 year deal where he can get more guaranteed money again after the 4th year as opposed to the 6th (if Dallas kept him that long).

Dak's contract parameters are out there with Goff and Wentz's deals. He and his camp are essentially asking for something fairly different than what the Eagles and Rams did with their QBs.

Wentz helped? think he was injured and it was Foles who did the work

Was Boomer Esiason better than Dan Foutes?

One made the superbowl the other didnt.

The Cowboys are way short on the guaranteed money compared to Goff and Wentz. Goff got $110 million guaranteed on a four year extension. Cowboys are offering less guaranteed money while trying to lock Dak up for five years.

I believe Dallas wants a "tradeable contract" meaning they want guaranteed portion down. If Dak can't push this team deep into playoffs the next 2 years they likely can still get 1st rounder for him.

What's the rush is what I don't get, He's franchised for one more year, I don't think Jerry or Steven are in a big rush to get him signed, and I think they want to see how does in McCarthy's offense. Dak needs to prove he can lead this team because too many times he's horrible in games with his accuracy..
WOW. We still have people pushing the not accurate narrative?

I didnt want to read through five pages of Dak-bashing, but did anybody actually READ the article or even try to UNDERSTAND the context of the quote?????
Stephen said we are going to get it right for the Cowboys and Dak!!! Win! Win! Get BOTH happy!! We love Dak!!!!
Not, "we doubt Dak, we want him cheap, blah, blah" like some of you guys are making this out to be. You guys are suffering from confirmation bias. Ugh.
