I think with Foles and Rodgers they both felt ready to play at 6 weeks but weren't ready from a healing standpoint. I know with Rodgers there was talk that he could play as early as Week 15 against Dallas (he ultimately didn't play until Week 17). There is probably going to be similar frustration here as Tony's high pain threshold could have him chomping at the bit, but you just can't let them out there until the scan shows healed.

Yep. He's a tough SOB who will want to play as soon as he feels ready, but they need to be patient. That's why I'm in favor of putting him on IR Designated to Return. He can start practicing again in six weeks, but won't be able to talk his way onto the field.

I'm with Weeden. But the look on his face as he was preparing with Linehan was unsettling.

I don't know about Troy any more...maybe someone should ask him how long he was watching Martians after a game.

All those hits to the head...
Poor guy.

No way to know how long until after he sees doctor. Just speculation now.

He doesn't look lost in space, now, although.

All the broken bones that Tony Romo has suffered...man, no foul word will leak from this fan concerning the position status. He is definitely a gamer, team centered player.

Well, yeah. I think he was just born with a face that doesn't inspire confidence.

5-6 weeks for a young Aikman is different for a 35 year old Romo. Older guys heal slower. I oughta know. :)

Well we heard all offseason and through camp that weeden has improved a lot. Let's hope this is actually true and not just the teammates and coaches being "nice".

Broaddus said that he hasn't heard any time table yet. They want to see the scans.

What? Who care about the look on his face? He did just fine. May not be fine next week but certainly won't have to do with any look on his face you saw for maybe 2 whole seconds

False, if he were 70 you may have a point, however, he is not, his bones will heal just as fast as when he was in his 20s.
