That's honestly my own 'hunch' as well. While Goodell certainly wants to maintain discipline, I think he also learned from the heavy-handed way the last Elliott situation was handled. It does nobody any good to have he or the league perceived as vicious overlords who suspend over the smallest of things nor to have star caliber players being kept off the field. Everyone loses.

So I expect that Zeke got a stern warning and some mandates on what he must do to stay on the field. And now it's up to him to adhere to them.
