The deal they are trying to make with Dez. I'm sorry if i phrased that poorly.

Story on possible collusion between Cowboys and Broncos:

NFLPA is reviewing information to determine whether there was collusion between the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys on the unsettled contractual situations of franchise WRS Demaryius Thomas and Dez Bryant, per an NFLPA official. The NFLPA believes the Broncos and Cowboys had contact about each players’ contract when the collective bargaining agreement prohibits such contact. The NFLPA now is trying to determine if collusion did occur and when to possibly file a claim. The deadline for the WRs to sign long-term deals is Wednesday of next week.

This could be bad, or.....

It could be designed to prevent either team from "setting the receiver market" too low.

Just my quick guess.

Adam Schefty just reported

I'm not even sure what that means.

They're likely communicating about negotiations with their respective WR. Whichever one gets a deal first is going to set the market and they're probably trying to find out what that contract is going to look like.

This has crossed my mind...that maybe owners had talked to each other. Not just on Dez and D Thomas, but AJ Green and Julio Jones too.

But in the end, I assumed they had not.
Just seems way too risky.

This seems like a late negotiating ploy by Tom Condon. Doesn't he represent both receivers?

You mean COLLUSION like the NFL punishing the Cowboys and Commanders for contracts given during a NON salary cap year?
