NFLPA's first team report card based on surveying approx 1300 players

Tied for first in 4 of the 8 categories.
The A- they got in "Training Staff" only got them tied for 15th.

The killer was the C- they got in "Team Travel" which ranked them 23rd.

I guess you could say we don't travel well.

Big surprise. The RICHEST franchise has some of the nicest toys. Who'd a thunk it...? No renovations required of the trophy area though. Bummer.

Weird for Jerry to cheap out on the plane ride, though. At first I thought "Diva Problems", but when just you got pounded by monsters for 3 hours, a comfortable plane ride home isn't much to ask. A lot of these guys are too big to fly in a coach seat.

Second, they are one of seven teams in the NFL that does not offer players first-class seats for travel.​

They didn't hit a lot of areas that Jerry really excels, like marketing opportunities during and after your career. And healthcare facilities. Financed his very own sports medicine clinic. Gotta figure they get the best care money can buy.

I would imagine all teams get the best healthcare they can buy because it's probably a condition of the CBA. That's why you have a guy like Dr. Andrews who sees players from all teams and sports.

Best is when the wealthiest sports franchise owner in the world builds a facility for the national sports injury expert all others players fly to for their big injuries, and that's the facility you go to for *all* your injuries.

Just makes *so* much sense for the owner of a sports franchise, but AFAIK Jerry is the only one who has done it.

The Jones family made a billion dollars last season by just advertising and marketing the Cowboys. There is no reason for the Cowboys not to be top 3 in every category. Tied for 23 in travel and 15th in training staff is quite alarming.

They actually ranked very high on this survey, which I think was 1300 players surveyed. 5th out of 32 teams overall.

I’ll say this despite my dislike, the Jones’ take care of their players.

The only knocks were the training staff is understaffed, but the training staff currently employed got high marks from the players. The travel rating was low because the coaches and staff travel 1st class on the flight, players are in coach.

Interesting note: McCarthy is very big on player recovery after games, which apparently makes him one of the most well liked coaches in the league. I do think that’s important.

I don't know if it's the same thing you're talking about, but my high school field had to be 2-3 feet higher in the center than at the sidelines. You were running uphill. A sweep was all downhill.
