Travel 23rd?

I thought We had Our own plane.
Teams charter planes for travel. I don't think any teams own their own planes. For no more than 8 or 9 road games, plus if they travel somewhere for TC. Also 1 or 2 PS games, and any playoffs games.
Would not be worth the cost to maintain for say 8 to 14 flights a year.

What's the quantitative difference between an F and and F-?

Is there a negative infinity minus 1?

No fan here is a Cowboys "hater". Those who use this term in every post possible lower the value of their posts. Wanting the Cowboys to be better is not hating the team. Come back when you're in your 6th decade as a fan
Wait I still gave hair!!!
Darn is there a hidden cam here?

Agree. Have followed this team since I was 10 years old in 1970! My wife and I went to every SB in the 90s but it is beyond frustrating with the ineptitude for the last 27 years! Our daughter was born in '95... the last year we won the SB. She is 27 and I would love for her to see her favorite team in the SB again in her lifetime.

We got it all....we are complete...we are so very fine.....we are 1st class....we are world class....EXCEPT on the football field where we are on a 3 decade run of being NFL bottom feeders.

That's nice...for the Country Club Team the Arlington Jonesboys. Kansas City look like they are last in every category except going to Super Bowls and winning Super Bowls.
Lol… KC got a B overall. Hardly “last in every category”— but by all means, have fun playing hyerbole with yourself

There were only two issues that stood out that players feel could use improvement: first, the players feel like the training room is understaffed. The Cowboys trainers grade highly, but the players wish there were more training staff. Second, they are one of seven teams in the NFL that does not offer players first-class seats for travel. Instead, coaches and staff sit up front, and players sit in coach seats both before and after they play.

TIED FOR 23RD
  • 78% of players feel like they have enough room to spread out
  • No roommates
  • One of 7 teams that does not offer first-class seats to their players
Ungrateful players!

Bend-and-squeeze your knees all the way into your chest if you are 6' 7" 310 pounds flying coach. It's only a three-hour flight. Suck it up.

"No roommates?" Want a teammate to share a room with to keep The Boogeyman away at night? (Kinda joking here. Not sure what this actually means for the players).

Uh oh, Jerry Jones. Better start coughing up first-class tickets for your players before you sign Odell Beckham Jr. ~wink wink~

These players have no idea what cost-savings mean to a multi-billionaire? Every penny saved pays for more fuel that powers a quarter billion dollar superyacht. Do y'all really want your boss stranded on the open seas with an empty tank?

This is a tale as old as time.

At the lower levels of competition great facilities and support builds winning high school and college programs. At the professional levels or the highest levels those creature comforts don't relate to a hill of beans in terms of performance.

Tenacity, grit, determination and drive for excellence is what matters if you want to be the best. Having the best daycare in the league doesn't make you a smarter or better football player.

It's great the Cowboys treat their staff well...if this was a government facility, but its mandate isn't to be the best facility. The mandate is to win the SuperBowl.

Unless that isn't true and we have other designs as a team.
It’s a survey of certain questions. It’s not a measurement of a teams success
But it does tell you a bit about why players want to come to Dallas

I think NE owns its own plane but most charter them. A plane is a huge expense to maintain, even park when not using it. Not to mention liability, so charters are the norm and kinda makes sense

It’s a good thing they didn’t ask about mascot or we would have got a G

Does not change the facts. Arlington Jonesboys Country Club no NFC championship games the last 27 years. Go back and look at all the KC grades, not just the first category.

I rest my case.

Oh shut up.

Seriously, some of these teams have rats. Some don't have a family room and wives have to breastfeed babies on the floor of a public restroom. Some don't provide players with food or supplements. This is basic, low-cost stuff, that teams can do to make players better.

Their charter company must be worried, maybe they should upgrade the cashew nuts to jumbo sized,

We are talking about billionaire owners and multi millionaire players. If they don't have and don't get it is because of their greed, ignorance, priorities, or lack of values. No

As I said before, lacking A+ things in Kansas City has not stop Super Bowls and the 1970's,1980's, and 1990's Cowboys won at Texas Stadium and did not move team HQ until 1983 to Valley Ranch from a small office building at 4425 Central Expressway. It did not stop the real Dallas Cowboys for winning 20 years in a row, 19 years with 18 playoff appearances, 18 Championship Games, 8 Super Bowls and 5 Super Bowl Championships.

So facilities don't mean a thing in football. Winning, playing for championships, and winning championships is what football is about. That is what sports history is going to record.

Ok, go play in a vacant weeded uneven rock strewn field after having to dress in a barn in rags. Oh and you buy your own food. And the training equipment consists of one set of barbells.

Then go up against a team with all we have.
Out of curiosity how do you explain the benefit of the rating based on the Rams, Eagles, Broncos, Bucs, Jaguars, Patriots and Saints. All who have recently won SuperBowls, but not the Cowboys. Or even the emerging Cincinnati Bengals.

If you look at the categories of nutrition, weight room, training room which are the "facilities" there seems to be no correlation on those items and whether or not you are a successful team.

So I am curious on how you can explain that.

They did get poor marks for nutrition, training room, training staff and locker room. They only graded high in one category - Strength staff. So why wasn't those four categories a hindrance to the recent three year run of excellence?

I think I am seeing a lot of people in this thread get overly exaggerated and focused on what could possibly be the wrong thing about SuperBowl bound teams.

If you look at the ratings and focus on the categories not affected by people (e.g. training staff or coaches), but just buildings and amenities there is not a clear link that having those in great supply will make a hill of beans towards your chances for a SuperBowl.

It's the personalities of your players and your coaches. That's why people who are winners will always have a winning mentality and those who come short of the mark consistently live inside their echo chambers and can't figure their **** out.

There are no Cowboys haters per say, although I have my doubts about a few, but there are player, coach and FO haters out the gazoo.
