I actually didn't have too much of a problem with the premise of a lesser team having more talented players on their roster.
We have to remember that the league is about passing the ball more effectively than the opponent. So you can have a lot of talent on your team, but if you lack talent at certain important positions, like QB and WR, you're not going to be very good.
Plus, on defense...you're often times only as good as your weakest player. So you can have a stacked defense, but a terrible corner that is starting and nobody else can beat him out because the backups are terrible...and you may struggle badly on defense despite being loaded with other players.
And then there's coaching
Where I have a problem with it is that they overrate so many players and so many players 'on the rise' have already risen.
Percy Harvin is incredibly overrated and that was just as big of a reason for the Seahawks getting rid of him as any. Meanwhile, KJ Wright has more than arrived for the Seahawks. He's a fantastic player.
Scandrick has risen a long time ago. I would probably give that 'on the rise' to Crawford who if he plays like he did last year and can just come away finishing a few more plays, he's going to get noticed (especially if he gets help from Gregory, Hardy and Lawrence this year).
Travis Kelce has already arrived.
Meh.
