Yes, your right, the site i checked had the wrong chart.

I stand by the fact the Flyers will be a Cup contender all 4 years, not that big a price to pay for a talent like Weber.

The chance either of those picks becomes anything close to him...are slim.

Having said that, i'm glad he's not in Philly, would make playing them alot harder.

I think that's short sighted. Giroux was a late 1st round pick. So was Richards. The guy everybody covets, Weber, was a 2nd round pick.

I don't think it would be hard at all to use those picks in the draft and come away with more impact than one great defenseman. That's just my opinion on it.

This is moot anyway. I'm sure our GM will find a way to trade some of those 1st rounders soon.

True enough, but how much time will it take for those draft picks to become star players? Philly is a great team, ready for a cup run now, might not be that way in 5-6 years.

And lol hey i'm a Leafs fan, my team is the king of trading away 1st round picks...

Yea, Weber would have been the perfect fit for this team, no doubt. Def a Philly type guy.

What's the Islander's excuse, seems as if no one with any talent wants to come here?

I haven't enjoyed hockey in decades. You'd think the team would have figured it out by now. They sort of remind me of the Cowboys, but worse.

The Islanders' problem is that they have 0 fanbase. Players don't like going to empty arenas every night.

They're pretty much the opposite of the Cowboys :laugh2:
