Nick Bosa is better than Parsons

The problem with Parsons is this...

He is a generational pass rusher, but he's a LVE clone at everything else.

Quinn needs to stop beating around the bush with him and let him be great at what he's great at.

The thing about that, is I'm not sure his body can take going against tackles the majority of the time

Yeah I see why I don't frequent this site much anymore... Micah is banged up and it's showing on the field.

Bosa is a great talent and one of the top pass rushers in the game. But that's what he does on EVERY SNAP. Unfortunately for us, Parson isn't used as just a pass rusher. Bosa has 1.5 more sacks than Parsons. Not sure how many more pass rush attempts he has but I'd guess it's quite a few. Because of our poor run defense, Parsons only pass rushed 8 times last night & I fear that may be the same thing we see from here on out as teams see that they can gash us in the run game and subdue our pass rushers.

LOL I told everyone on here that was making threads praising Parsons just a few weeks ago how you all would turn on him the moment he has a stretch of ghost games. Here we are. Really living up to your name and this place never surprises me.

Maybe some of you should have pumped the brakes on calling Parsons a future HOF already and just watched him develop.

Not long ago he was better than LT, I remember seeing that one too.

Parsons was great his rookie year. He really was. Year two? not as much.

Teams have gotten hip to his weakness and that’s against the run. He’s actually quite pedestrian as an off the ball linebacker.

Parsons is going to get criticized if he doesn’t play well because the way he conducts himself on the field.. he’s nonchalant and always looks bored. I don’t see the fire and urgency.

that’s actually not even being critical that’s his own play…

If Parsons is playing linebacker, like many of you want him to do, then he might now even be a top 50 defensive NFL player.

As a Passrusher he’s probably the best defender I’ve ever seen.

Agree, he is not a Dick Butkus straight MLB, he is more of a OLB that gets after the QB. If you play him there then the D is not nearly as good.

Yes he’s is pedestrian as a off the ball linebacker but he has still been a phenom this year coming off the edge and is probably going to be voted the best defender in football.

I'm not comparing the two. Parson is great.
But you must understand that Bosa has a DE body, Parsons does not.
Parsons is going to wear down from rushing 300 pound OL.
We've been saying this from Day 1, but some of you don't want to hear it.
I think teams are game-planning against Parsons, and he's wearing down as a result.
As for yesterday, Quinn figured the Packers were going to run more than pass, necessitating Parsons to move to linebacker.
And that's what Green Bay did.

Lol yes for THEM, but when we played against rg3 that's why he was sent to Denver! He just wasn't the same player

He was sent to Denver because he was beyond his prime at that point. Duh.

And I will repeat: He obviously wasn't the problem since once he went to another team, he helped them win a freakin' Super Bowl and showed up on the biggest stage. Like....this isn't hard to understand.

And it’s not even close. Parsons disappears in big games much like Demarcus ware. When he need him most he folds. In his 3 biggest games: the 49ers, Eagles, and packers. He was pedestrian. Aaron Jones completely destroyed him today and it was embarrassing. Cannot believe what Dalvin Cook will do to him next week.
DWare never disappeared during games. Offenses figured out that DWare could be controlled because Dallas lacked the ability to get a push up the middle. How many times did you see DWare just miss the QB or the QB step up and take off just as DWare was getting there? You get a big NT to stuff the middle and all of a sudden DWare would have been the greatest defensive player ever. Jerry wasted him but not investing in a big NT. Yesterday showcased the fact that our LB's are terrible outside of Parsons. Aaron Rodgers has based his career off dinking and dunking. It's hard to get home alot when that happens.
