And it’s not even close. Parsons disappears in big games much like Demarcus ware. When he need him most he folds. In his 3 biggest games: the 49ers, Eagles, and packers. He was pedestrian. Aaron Jones completely destroyed him today and it was embarrassing. Cannot believe what Dalvin Cook will do to him next week.
HIM ?? He ? LMAO this is as bad as the Dak blame. team defense lost that game, 10 other positions on that field.

Trent Williams
Lane Johnson
David Bhaktiari

All future HOF OT’s, might have something to do with it. The rest of the lines on these teams are good as well.
Not to nitpick but Trents the only HOF'er of that entire group. Parsons didn't even line up against him at all during that game (Amstrong and Gregory split pass rushing reps against Trent Williams).

He didn't line up against Bhaktiari either, he was either playing linebacker (coverage or spy) or going against #73 whose their backup RT.

Eagles was the only one of those 3 where he was screwed (both RT and LT are great, and Jalen is hard to spy)

I don't get how Parsons is supposed to rack up sacks like a normal DE when he plays most of the games at LB. Seems like his flexibility will always count against him since his versatility will always put him at a disadvantage compared to full time DE's who get to concentrate entirely on sacks.

Wow. Out of all the guys we're going to dump on it's a DROTY, and arguably a top 5 defensive player in the league. I have no doubt he'll get better as the groin heals. Even then, he's a year two player for crying out loud.

Respectfully .....take a seat bro.

At this point in their careers, of course. Why would you want to compare an established vet to a rook? That makes no sense.

If Bosa were playing for the Cowboys, you'd be saying the opposite. The Chargers don't take their elite pass rusher and have him chase WRs and RBs around all game long like the great Dan Quinn.

Ware doesn't have a big game in the playoffs for Dallas, then goes to Denver and has a monster playoff run and dominant super bowl. How does that not provide a clue to you?

It ain't the player. It's the organization. If Tony Romo had played elsewhere, he'd probably have a couple of rings. Instead, he spent his entire career in Dallas and is known as a guy who couldn't get it done in January.

We've seen it over and over for going on 30 years. Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Tyron Smith, Zac Martin, Travis Frederick. There are never enough good players for this team to win. Parsons is an elite player. If there were a league-wide draft, he'd be a top 5 on every board. The 1997 Dallas Cowboys had 5 HOFers in their prime, and went 6-10, and never again got past the divisional playoffs. The Cowboys could draft the next Tom Brady, Barry Sanders, and Reggie White, and it wouldn't matter. They aren't going anywhere as long as the Jones family and their special brand of management run the show.

People who bash on Ware are just so dumb.

This is dumb. Parsons had 8 rushes against the Packers. He was play off ball LB most of the night. You have to blame Quinn for that. Why did they let up on the pressure, especially on that 4th and 7.

I also think Parsons is not 100%. He is taking more plays off and rushing the QB less. But I will not argue has has not been as good with runs right at him as we'd like him to be. But the failure to stop the run is not just on him.

I think Sam Williams needs to play more. Did anyone notice Golston was inactive for this game? With Basham back they don't need Golston.

I also wonder if the problem stopping the run is the scheme. Why is it so difficult for the Cowboys LBs to fill their assigned gaps? I know it is not just that, they also struggled getting off blocks, and that includes Parsons.

Another embarrassing take. Same guy will go forget about his stupid take when we reel off three straight wins. Pathetic.

The problem with Parsons is this...

He is a generational pass rusher, but he's a LVE clone at everything else.

Quinn needs to stop beating around the bush with him and let him be great at what he's great at.

he is 240. He is tiny for a de. Not that simple
