Duh, blimey!

Allow me, a lovable and charming cad, to clarify me "duh" if tha is possible in the English and Runic languages.

When Parsons is shown up such as Sunday, Bossa is clearly ahead.
When Parsons calls it in after a rough week of critiquing the team, Bossa is toppermost of the poppermost.
But a younger Parsons, if he does not shoot himself in the foot with his mouth and eventually leaves, has the upside for the future.

(Sorry am I for the tortured metaphor about the foot.)

And it’s not even close. Parsons disappears in big games much like Demarcus ware. When he need him most he folds. In his 3 biggest games: the 49ers, Eagles, and packers. He was pedestrian. Aaron Jones completely destroyed him today and it was embarrassing. Cannot believe what Dalvin Cook will do to him next week.
What dumb comments!
Micah needs to rush the passer every down just like your guy Nicki. Micah’s best position by far is DE. The coaches need to figure that out.

Also, if Micah was going one on one vs either of those backs he would destroy them 9 out of 10 times!!!

You’re the stupid one. Three straight wins vs who? Oh year Houston , colts , and Jags? Oh yes really impressive! Kick rocks, pathetic.

Na, anyone who over reacts so much to a single game is stupid. Keep your shirt on guy. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

DWare never disappeared during games. Offenses figured out that DWare could be controlled because Dallas lacked the ability to get a push up the middle. How many times did you see DWare just miss the QB or the QB step up and take off just as DWare was getting there? You get a big NT to stuff the middle and all of a sudden DWare would have been the greatest defensive player ever. Jerry wasted him but not investing in a big NT. Yesterday showcased the fact that our LB's are terrible outside of Parsons. Aaron Rodgers has based his career off dinking and dunking. It's hard to get home alot when that happens.
Aaron Rodgers built a career of dinking and dunking? Wth, where do some of y'all come up with this stuff

And LOL another "Ware disappears in big games!"

...the guy who dominated the playoffs and Super Bowl for the Broncos.

Mhm mhm mhm...

The one who dominated in the playoffs was Miller. And he together with a strong Denver DL was the reason Ware looked good again.

There is a reason Ware didnt start all games in their SB winning season and the season after. And Denver reduced his snapcount to 30% in his last two seasons. He was used only for sure pass rushing downs.

It is an acknowledged fact that Ware disappeared in important situations. That does not take away that he was a good player. Just not in the mold of players like White , LT or Bruce Smith who were able to take a game over. Ware was a "nice guy".

Bosa is very good. Parsons is very good.

One thing to note, I think Parsons is dealing with some injuries and just not talking about it. Groins, for example, can be tricky things and often takes weeks to heal. Yet he's out there every week playing.

Reading the OP I was like I understand your frustration. But leave DWare out of it. That’s some long standing hate. Lmao

I live in GB territory and he's lost his number 1 deep threat a few times due to various reasons. This forced him to learn how to dink and dunk which continued to make GB competitive. It's really not that hard to figure out.

Bosa is arguably a top 3 DE in football.

Parsons is a great pass rusher and a good LBr.

It’s hard to evaluate Parsons against other pass rushers bc he’s used differently. He can’t hold
up against on the edge so we can’t just leave him out there.

This is dumb. Parsons had 8 rushes against the Packers. He was play off ball LB most of the night. You have to blame Quinn for that. Why did they let up on the pressure, especially on that 4th and 7.

I also think Parsons is not 100%. He is taking more plays off and rushing the QB less. But I will not argue has has not been as good with runs right at him as we'd like him to be. But the failure to stop the run is not just on him.

I think Sam Williams needs to play more. Did anyone notice Golston was inactive for this game? With Basham back they don't need Golston.

I also wonder if the problem stopping the run is the scheme. Why is it so difficult for the Cowboys LBs to fill their assigned gaps? I know it is not just that, they also struggled getting off blocks, and that includes Parsons.
Your first two paragraphs collide.

It's easy to conclude Parsons got hurt BECAUSE he was playing DE.

Why can't we down vote posts on here? If that's not an option, give us the ability to permanently delete STUPID threads because this one needed to find it's way to the dumpster immediately upon OP pressing POST.

:facepalm:nick Bosa is a true DE. Micah is a true linebacker playing pass rusher because your inept owner/GM doesn't know anything about building a "real" defense. Try putting Bosa at linebacker-see what happens:laugh:Come on,man. This post has so many empty calories.

The one who dominated in the playoffs was Miller.
They were both elite that run. Ware had 3.5 sacks compared to Millers 4 (Miller also had an INT) but Ware had 6 more QB hits. They both showed up that playoff run it wasn't one person dominating and the other wasn't

You were already proven wrong about Ware in the playoffs.

Go watch all the pressure Ware applied on Brady in the 2015 playoffs.
