I am not defending Dak. But to suggest the harassment he took had nothing to do with his results is just a Johnny One Note sort of thing. You focus on him and not the line play or the open or not receivers.

This offense is terrible. Dak is some of that problem.

He held the ball when no one was open. These receivers couldn't get open against backups.

SEA had taken 6 sacks in each of their first two games. And we had recorded 9 in our first two. Guess Kris Richard wasn’t calling the D plays today, lol!

I got a nickname for this defense...The Slump Busters.

its so awful its hard to say but this is as though to watch as 2015 and the quincy days.. Is it ScottL play calling and a combo of his and Garetts offense? or the players? well at this point its tougher to get rid of players then coaches..lets fire SL and try and save the season.. get it changed asap and se what we have in the rest. yes some of it is dak those passes over the middle late that he still missing Zeke, or throwing badly and balls get tipped, yes its on him..

seatle had bad oline so does NY and others but they found a way today didnt they? ours is better then theirs, not the 2014/16 group but better..this was so so hard to watch and now that about 11 games have gone by where it simply looks like we cannot muster much offense at all and with a solid d now , some poor moments today, but solid, its a waste not even havein a average O..our O has to be one of the worst ive seen in long time..

I don’t want to get personal here, but let’s just agree that’s our fan base is rather uneducated about football. While our 285lb tight end (Conner Williams) continues to play guard, defensive tackles dance in the backfield on every play.

I don’t care if we have Romo, Aaron Rodgers or Johnny Unitas, no one is doing anything if the quarterback can’t set his feat.

Unfortunately fans watch QB throw bad balls under constant duress and they believe it’s all his fault. Oh well.

BTW - no defense of Dak here, he’s an average quarterback who can win you games when he is protected. But to anyone who knows football, the problem here is quite obviously the offensive line.

Wrong

For those of us who actually watched the game and don’t have our head in the Daksand. It was more than obvious that when given time

A. He does not lead his WR well at all often throwing behind them
B. Holds the ball too long, this creaing Pressure on himself
C. Moves into pressure , rather than stepping away leading to balls thrown away
D. Does not anticipate the WR break. Thus waiting for the guy to be “wide open”

Dak was under too much pressure. No question. That said, there were several critical times when he had time to throw and just missed. Badly. Aikman commented on this too.
