No Blocking, No Pass Game

This fan base is also impatient.

That's the understatement of the year. They want to put 20 plus years of frustration on Garrett. He inherited a bad team and has turned it around for the most part.

How can you say he’s holding the ball too long when he’s getting hit almost immediately?

Dak’s accuracy is fine when he has time to throw, just like most of the quarterbacks in this league.

Most of these guys who aren't realistic just want to pile on Dak because they are mad because Dez got cut, and he still doesn't have a job.

Don’t get me wrong I am not just trying to blame Dak only.

This franchise is going nowhere with Garrett running it. But the reality is Dak is a big issue too. He had 58 yards passing with 10-12 minute to go in the game. That’s bad Quaterbacking even if you are getting average OL play.

The reality very well may be we need a new coach and new QB this offseason .

He didn't get average line play. He was getting pressure as soon as the center made the exchange.

With all the belly aching, and I am one of the biggest, and since we fans have zero say in how this plays out, I'd suggest this fan base is impatient. Williams has played three NFL games that matter. You put pepper on your steak for seasoning. Why would this be different?

I don't think anyone is suggesting that Williams should be cut today, but if he's not good enough to play yet he should be riding the pine.

How many teams are averaging 166 passing yards per game? Nobody can tell me that there is no other team with a worse offensive line than ours, so everything else being equal there should be teams who pass for less than our pathetic 166 per game. Are there?

LOL.

No, not 20. Just 8+ years.

It’s embarrassing that some of you still think he’s a really good coach.

It's funny that is exceptional years don't count in your book. It shows a complete lack of objectivity.

Stop it.

He missed WRs. He threw a couple behind open WRs.

He’s not playing well and some of that is what’s going on around him but some of it is his own doing.

To suggest otherwise just is ignorance and frankly stupidity.

Dak took a lot of hits b/c he holds the ball too long. Go re-watch. Dak has plenty of time to look over the field. He's just indecisive. Dak's inability to conduct a passing attack is what hamstrung the offense last year and its the same story this year. The guy has failed to pass for 200 yards in 8 of his last 10 games. Quit blaming the OL.

Funny how this all started when our o-line started to suck major balls.

He did with the culture, and I'll give him credit for that.

But he immediately produced 8-8 seasons that, admittedly had a lot to do with injuries, but in my view were only as good as they were because he had an elite QB.

He had some pretty terrible play calling in those years that he was either OC or Coach/OC too.

It's not all on Garrett, but there has to be a point he's accountable for something. I give him the two great seasons the team had. Part of that was on him and his rapport with the players.

But part of the team's struggles in the majority of his seasons are on him too. A lot of it's on him. I don't think the team at this point benefits from keeping treading water with his coaching.

Agreed. Dak is a QB that throws to a OPEN reciever. He doesn't have the "anticipation" of elite NFL QBs. That's just the fact.
Time to move on. Dak is a good backup but not franchise QB.

LOL.

He’s had two good years out of 8. And in his good years his teams failed to make the NFC Title game as a #1 seed. He has 1 playoff win in 8 seasons.

The only person lacking objectivity here is you.

You can't back that up with any kind statistics or facts, but your welcome to that opinion. Last I checked, the Eagles won a super bowl without their best OT and a rookie on the OL. But keep making that excuse. Maybe Dak requires 5 pro-bowlers in front of him.

Face it. He's a flash in the pan just like RG3 and Kapernick.

I am not defending Dak. But to suggest the harassment he took had nothing to do with his results is just a Johnny One Note sort of thing. You focus on him and not the line play or the open or not receivers.

This offense is terrible. Dak is some of that problem.

But not the entire problem.

I think most of us have resigned ourselves to the fact the entire offense is a dumpster on fire inside of a dumpster on fire hurtling towards the sun.

Dak IS a part of the problem though, that's a definite. I just don't think he'll ever be a QB that wins you a game at this level. I think the Cowboys would be smart to invest heavily in the position if he keeps looking like he has.

Gimme a break with this nonsense.....................Want proof the offensive line isn't the major problem ?

Take a look at Wilson's pass to Marshall ; 2-3 step drop that came out immediately to a WR that was almost blanketed......................

It could also be argued that when Dak started to **** the bed week after week it made the offensive line look worse.
