The problem with the offense begins at Jason Garrett and the hiring of a talentless hack to serve as QB coach.
I am not defending Dak. But to suggest the harassment he took had nothing to do with his results is just a Johnny One Note sort of thing. You focus on him and not the line play or the open or not receivers.
This offense is terrible. Dak is some of that problem.
But not the entire problem.
Wrong
For those of us who actually watched the game and don’t have our head in the Daksand. It was more than obvious that when given time
A. He does not lead his WR well at all often throwing behind them
B. Holds the ball too long, this creaing Pressure on himself
C. Moves into pressure , rather than stepping away leading to balls thrown away
D. Does not anticipate the WR break. Thus waiting for the guy to be “wide open”
Cmon man

How can you say he’s holding the ball too long when he’s getting hit almost immediately?
Dak’s accuracy is fine when he has time to throw, just like most of the quarterbacks in this league.
The line looked like garbage and receivers need some distance even if not wide open they can not get any separationDak took a lot of hits b/c he holds the ball too long. Go re-watch. Dak has plenty of time to look over the field. He's just indecisive. Dak's inability to conduct a passing attack is what hamstrung the offense last year and its the same story this year. The guy has failed to pass for 200 yards in 8 of his last 10 games. Quit blaming the OL.
Dak is pretty terrible. That said his receivers didn't help by letting passes pop out to defenders and stepping out of bounds before easy receptions and dropping equally easy receptions. There was plenty of suck for everyone on the offense to share in.

impatient? Weve been waiting 23 years for a Super Bowl. The fact that we are still here proves we are one of the most PATIENT fan bases in the NFL.This fan base is also impatient.
Everyone sucks at this point.

I was thinking the same thing after it was 7-0...

The OL is not playing great but there are QBs around the league making plays behind similar OLs.

I don’t want to get personal here, but let’s just agree that’s our fan base is rather uneducated about football. While our 285lb tight end (Conner Williams) continues to play guard, defensive tackles dance in the backfield on every play.
I don’t care if we have Romo, Aaron Rodgers or Johnny Unitas, no one is doing anything if the quarterback can’t set his feat.
Unfortunately fans watch QB throw bad balls under constant duress and they believe it’s all his fault. Oh well.
BTW - no defense of Dak here, he’s an average quarterback who can win you games when he is protected. But to anyone who knows football, the problem here is quite obviously the offensive line.
And similar WR's?
No two things are a.like in this league. No two situations. No two coaching staff's.
There is only one Garrett - The Scarlet Clapper, and that was not a compliment.
