Apparently, from what I read, this club makes those underage wear wrist bands so everyone knows they are under 21.

But with the link I posted, no one (not even the waitress) knew if Big Ben knowingly gave the girl alcohol. All that came directly from the girl, who was also accusing him of sexual assault with no evidence.

I'm about 99% sure he was suspended due to the lynch mob that surrounds anyone who is accused of sexual assault. Better for the league to suspend Big Ben than let it go.
Sorry its different here in Toronto. If you arent of age, you dont get in.

Did he have his bodyguards posted at the door while he engaged in sex with a drunk girl in a public bathroom? If the answer is yes, he made the league look bad and violated the conduct code.

Should be here as well. Letting 18-20 year old girls in with guys drinking is not a good thing. Some states, OK for instance, have the underage rule for beer only and let them in and I've never grasped that concept. I know this may be a shock but some 21-30 year old guys are not beneath getting underage girls drunk.

The girl in the Rothliesberger case said they should lose the Big Ben nickname and call him Small Paul.

You say "drunk girl" like Ben himself wasn't drunk even though he was reportedly taking shots. You are taking what the girl said as fact. Posting a body guard at the door was obviously to prevent anyone coming in while they were having sex. The league couldn't give two ***** about this.

The league had a problem with the girl saying the morning after she was "sexually assaulted" - this is what got the lynch mob going. The NFL does what the NFL does, if there is enough controversy surrounding an issue like this, they will suspend the player despite the lack of evidence.

The good news here, the Zeke story didn't gain much ground. So, he should be fine.

I don't see any of the media with the proper headline. "(Insert name of the woman here) lied in an effort to ruin Ezekiel Elliott's life but let's not hold her accountable because she's a woman"

I didn't know i should be biased just because Big Ben is with the Steelers. Sorry, but sexual assault and false claims are a little above football, don't ya think?

It has nothing to do with being biased against Big Ben. He engaged in a public display of sexual stupidity. You think the fact that he may have been drunk makes it better for the league. I disagree. He was suspended because his actions reflected poorly on the league, whether the suspension was excessive or not that's what it boils down to. He made the NFL look bad by behaving badly in public.

Zeke didn't do any of that. In fact, Zeke doesn't appear to have done anything at all.

I'm not sure how you are drawing a parallel between the two incidents, and why you are acting as if it's feasible that Zeke gets suspended because Big Ben did. If you want to champion the guys who bang drunken sluts in public bathrooms, have at it. But a lot of companies would probably not want that kind of publicity.

Apparently now due to one of the text exchanges between Zeke and his ex he may be put into the drug rehab program by the NFL

It was actually his second sexual assault and he should have known better this time around. Sexual assault is bad from either perspective and I would assume that athletes have gotten away with it in the past, way more than they should have.

I am not disagreeing with you so much as I was wondering why fight for the guy? You don't have any more facts than anyone else.

If he is, he'll get tested for 90 days. All he needs to do is stay clean and he'll be out of the program.

"He displayed in a display of sexual stupidity" - Once again, the issue did not come from the sex in the bathroom. She admitted to it being mutual, she said she was sexually assaulted in the morning (after having sex with him AGAIN) and that's where the controversy came from

I don't care about what you "disagree" with. Your original post stated he got her drunk, you have no proof that HE got her drunk. It was from the girls testimony, he said/she said. You inserted your own bias into this and I called you out.

The NFL doesn't give a damn about what player is having sex in some clubs damn bathroom. Half the damn league would be on suspension if this was the case. It came from the controversy.

What is the parallel here? Someone question if the NFL would suspend someone on pure speculation. Big Ben wasn't charged with anything, everything in the girl's testimony was not supported by a dang thing. So, he was charged on nothing but speculation. A girl going to the police is exactly what got Big Ben suspended. It was NOT for "Having sex in a bathroom". You started out by saying he got her drunk just to sleep with her, now you're bringing it all the way down to "Well, it was for sex in public"

I mean, at least stay consistent.

You mean, second time being accused? When are you people going to realize accusations =/= fact?

Also, how about getting the dang context before hopping in the discussion? Someone questioned if the NFL would suspend off pure speculation, whether you want to admit it or not, Big Ben was suspended simply due to speculation and one girl's testimony....which didn't get him convicted of a damn thing. He was suspended for controversy.

Yes, the speculation is whether he got the underage girl drunk to have sex with her intentionally or whether he was too drunk to know better himself.

Here's a news flash - Both of those things make the league look bad, not many employers would be thrilled to have their public faces engaging in such behavior.

Did she cry 'assault?' Yes, and she was able to do so because he banged her in the bathroom stall of a club while she was drunk. Was she assaulted? We don't know, but the fact that she was able to bring the whole incident to light by crying assault forced the league to take action. They can't sit by and do nothing in that case, it makes them look bad. It's that simple.

Zeke didn't make the league look bad. There is no controversy. We win.

So, you just admitted it was all pure speculation. So, the NFL does suspend someone on speculation alone.

Your last point is hilarious, and I think you're stumbling through this. She didn't need to be "banged in a bathroom stall" to bring a case. All she had to say was, I was sexually assaulted in the morning after the night club. That's it.

He wasn't convicted, charges were dropped, no evidence showing an assault took place. Sex in a bathroom stall =/= assault. It's just...sex in a bathroom stall. Once again, the NFL doesn't care about this.
