Thank you, all this looking forward stuff drives me nuts. Then when we don't do as assumed by some on here, it's like it's time to jump off a bridge or something!!! Just calm down, take it game by game, be patient, first things first!!

This is a Forum to share and discuss opinions. If i only want to talk about the next game we only need 1 thread on here.

There were so many saying that before the season and said MM needed to go if we fell short. Now it seems a 12 win season seems to have changed a lot of minds.
are you recommended a coach that accomplished what he has should get the axe? Do you have a barometer as to whatthe cowboys need to do for him to stay employed? In my mind all the man has to do is win this week and depending on how the game goes maybe even a loss this week shouldnt mean he has to go.

I dont have alot of faith the jones clan could get better with someone else.

Nah that was overhyped by fans who wanted to ignore the fact that we definitely were not a top 2 roster either one of those years. This year is completely different especially getting the 2 seed and avoiding SF
I dont necessarily think were a top 2 roster this year either but the stars are aligning. Philly whom i believe is constructed better is imploding and i love it. Detroit has a darn good roster as well. Theres no doubt san fran is the best in the NFC but anything can happen thats why you play the games.

We do play better at home so Im grateful to have a couple of games there hopefully either way ill enjoy regardless of results

This is the year they just have to do it. Might not get a better chance the next couple of years.

Two possible home games against very doable opponents.

Packers and TB/Eagles

Packers and TB lucked into the playoffs with a basically .500 record. Neither played great football that scares someone.

Eagles are probably the worst team in the playoffs right now and in self-destruct mode.

Cowboys have the longest home winning streak ever and are a different animal at AT&T.

We are likely healthy besides Gilmore and the guys that are out for a long time.

Zack Martin and Tyler Smith will be playing, atleast Martin. Bass has looked more than good so im not worried about Tyler Smith playing or not.

Dak and CD are clicking on an cylinders. Even Pollard looks to regain form.

Defense and ST is the only thing that has questionmarks, but there is no excuse this year to not get the monkey off our backs and reach the NFCG after almost 3 decades.
Agree 100% .... This is our must win year. We never had an easier path... the Eagles are literally the worst statistical team in the NFL the last month and half after Carolina... we MUST take advantage of the path in front of us.

Ravens are a safe lock for the SB Game in my opinion.
Absolutely not. You have no idea what you are talking about. Their run in the afc is much more challenging than SF run in the nfc

There’s actually a really good excuse. They’re the Dallas Cowboys and playoff letdowns is their specialty.

Um, we cannot play TB correct? We play the iggles if they win and if they lose, the winner of Det/LA.

3 strikes and you’re out, simple as that. Can’t beat the 49ers again it’s just the same old sorry story. You must be a stats homer happy for participating who finds joy in beating the teams you’re supposed to and failing to beat the good ones. On the road should not matter it’s just another excuse and another failed season if that happens. Get the participation trophies ready so you can hand them out if they fail yet again
What does this mean, exactly? Three strikes and you’re out of what? Because I assure you, the cowboys will be back next season no matter what happens over the next month.

Football is entertainment. If you’re not “finding joy” in following the Cowboys, then you should probably stop, since that’s the only purpose here. Maybe that’s what you meant, you’ll stop being a fan after “three strikes?”

Similarly, I have no idea what “no excuses” means. Win or lose, there are reasons why it happens. If Aaron Jones runs over them for 200 yards because they can’t stop the run and they lose, what does it matter if that’s an “excuse” or a reason?

LaPorta injury is pretty significant for Detroit going forward.

Eagles are beat up too.

Any other significant injuries going into the postseason?

This is there best possible chance in years.
But they have squandered previous other golden opportunities like pooping the bed in 2007.
So I am in a wait and see mode.
BTW, the second game is more likely the lions who gave the boys all they could handle and is no gimme.

Yeah that's what I've been saying since the Cardinals beat the Eagles. The Cowboys were put on a path that anything less than a NFCCG appearance is unacceptable.

This is a season of historic home dominance and the only thing standing in their way of the NFCCG is two home games against underdog opponents.

It would be one of the biggest disappointments of the Jerry era if they don't get this done.

And who knows? Maybe the Rams can beat the Lions and go to San Francisco and beat the 49ers. If that's the case, swallow hard, because your Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl.

Two games at home against woof woof teams it can’t align any better. If they fail to reach the SB it’s just the same old beat up the dregs, no SB then someone must go and it will not be Dak.
They will not be favored against the 49ers
Reasonable ceiling is a loss in the NFCCG.
Which Is a 28 season high.
And should be considered a successful season.
