No hate on Dak, but what does he do better than Rush?

I still question why dak will not use his legs. Its what helped him a lot when he came into the league. He should not be a strict pocket passer... hell josh allen isn't even a strict pocket passer at times. he runs a lot.

Would love to hear what our fans think, logically.

Better pure passer? No
Better at reading defense? No
Better runner? Sure maybe
More decisive? No
More expensive? Yes
He has a stronger arm and he's a better athlete. I'm not sure if having a stronger arm and being a better athlete makes him a better QB.

More mobile

More accurate

Stronger arm

More experience

Most importantly though, and this is really what separates good QBs from everyone else, he can stand in the pocket and read an NFL defense. He doesn’t require everything be simplified and set up for him.

Rush is what most backups are, two read QBs who rely on the run game and playaction to set up easy throws.

Arm strength without a doubt. When Cooper doesn’t have a clean pocket the ball is going straight into the ground or being floated where it’s anyone’s ball.

Rush would have been great in the old West Coast style offenses. Intelligent, quick reads and throws a good intermediate ball

Arm strength????? Dak can barely open a jar of mayo let alone throw a 60 yard bomb. His fade throws always come up way short.....hence why I don't think we go out and get a WR with speed. What's the point if your QB can't get them the ball? Teams would catch on pretty damn quick he's just a decoy.

Well let Rush get more film and body of work for more teams to gameplan against him and see how he produces then when he's a week to week priority.

I don't doubt he will pass the test, but slow your roll when comparing him to a quarterback in Dak who has a pretty good winning percentage with years of experience for defenses to gameplan against him.
What winning percentage? One playoff win in his career? Cooper has shown that Dak is not a franchise QB1, and go look at all my posts, I've beat it to death, Dak is an overpaid starter at best. He racks up numbers against the NFC East, but can't beat winning teams.

At least the defense is stepping up, because again, no team has won a Super Bowl without a top flight defense, but has won with a journey man QB. Dump, Zeke, Pollard is better value, continue to shore the defense and O line, then dump Dak, when the financial hit makes sense.

He's an overpaid starter at best.

So far the Dak supporters are saying stronger arm.

The trump card being is Dak 42x better than rush, and that answer is hell no.

Simple question; would a single nfl team trade for Dak and his contract?
A lot of teams would do that for a top ten qb. You people are ridiculous.

Coop is much more calm. He is also much better at reading a defense. Dak has a little more zing on his throw but Coop throws a pretty deep ball. Dak is better but it's much closer then most realize. What am i saying I have no idea what Dak actually does better.
That was my take away from tonight's game. When we went down 13-6 and Rush lead the tying TD drive I felt that was a big moment. Then everyone saw the rest. My takeaway was the gap between Dak and Cooper is not much and Cooper is playing with more confidence. I'm not trying to bash Dak but I'd take a less talented confident QB over a more talented less confident QB.

Well it's the intangibles of course! Having the ability to only win one play off game on loaded rosters over 6 years. That's pretty special.
