No hate on Dak, but what does he do better than Rush?

How’d that playoff game turn out? Time to dump fantasy-madden #s and watch the game.

12-5. number 1 offense in the league over a full season. “what does dak do better?” literally everything lol. this is fun though and i’m rocking with Rush for now

He’s a better passer by far. Better in the pocket and more mobile. Stronger arm that has the ability to make all the throws. Now week 1 was a stinker and he’ll feel the pressure after Rush has been solid and mistake free. Interested to see how he reacts to this when he returns in 2 weeks. Even if Dallas loses the next 2 Rush has done enough to put pressure on Dak.

The thing that worries me most is that the Cowboys as an organization is going to mess this up. We got Washington coming into town next week and I think will handle that game. At that point rush will be on a three-game winning streak. What the Cowboys are going to do is bring Dak back and They’ll say “well let’s put Dak in there and if things don’t go well will put Rush back in“. They’re gonna play both sides of the fence and then they’re gonna mess up The momentum we have going. Playing musical quarterbacks never works out. In my opinion if we win next week with Rush and he looks solid? You stay with him. Let him continue to take the snaps as the lead guy.

He does everything better. Some of y’all are some awful trolls.

naw. just live in reality. I have no agenda or bias. i just want to win, whoever that’s with. but i’m not going to go through gymnastics to push a narrative.

Rush played within his means. He had a good offensive line and a good running game tonight. Without that his play would be average.

He’s more marketable.

Football-related? Dak isn’t better than Cooper Rush as anything. If Rush had been given the same opportunity that Dak was given, we’d be in a better spot today.

I'm glad your not running the Cowboys.

But isn't Dak doing that to himself by audibling out of runs?
IF that is true, then you don't give him the ability to do so.

I mean, it's not that hard to, especially with Rush winning games. Either run the play KM calls or ride the pine.

Dak is no longer a better runner. That used to be his advantage. But he doesn't run anymore. Rush just runs this offense better than Dak. Takes his shots downfield and opens up the defense to make it easier to run. Defenses can't put 8 in the box.
That is what I love about him too. He takes shots downfield (and should have connected on a few). Dak seems to never do that. It really helps keep defenses honest and it shows.

As of now Cooper Rush is 3-0 and has looked better in each game. But 3 games is a short span. Dak has proven when he's at his best he puts up elite numbers. Am I starting to get behind the Rush train? Yes, right now it is hard not to, but Dak deserves a longer leash than one bad game. Playcalling was a lot better tonight than it was week 1 as well.

Rush does not have much of a body of work, but in the 3 games I have seen him play he has been much better finding receivers, quicker getting rid of the football, better at not taking sacks, better at reading the defenses, and just playing smarter football. Dak has a stronger arm, and runs better. Dak is overpaid.

I’m guessing if Rush had anywhere close to the reps/tape that Dak has put out in the last 6 years, you all would be begging for Dak to get back. We are yet to see Rush go down 17 in a first half and be forced to gunsling his way to a victory. We’re yet to see Rush run for his life for 4 quarters. Etc…

I understand hating Dak is the trendy thing to do but I’m rolling with him because he’s a known commodity, and that’s a top 10 QB ceiling. We’ve seen him at his absolute worst and absolute best, good circumstances and bad. I know what I’m getting. I have a very average 3 game sample size from Rush and some horrid preseason tape.

If you think the Dallas defense is for real, the smart decision is to roll with the better player, even if you think he’s only marginally better. I do not care about the salaries of either player. Dak’s contract is a sunk cost.
