I'm not sure many have noticed but Miles wasn't exactly killing it out there even with Dez getting ridiculous attention.

He had a solid game in week 1 but 55 yards between weeks 2 and 3 isn't getting the job done. If that kind of production can't be had from any of the other WRs on the roster behind him, those players shouldn't be on the team.

I think Dallas needs to get out of the mindset that they can't do without a specific player. Unless it's Romo/Dez/Ware, someone should be able to step up.

Tom Brady is playing with 3 rookie WRs. Someone step up and justify your roster spot.

Youre wrong... Those are exactly the types of players Jerry pays 50 mil

Good question? I mean, the other 52 guys on the team are doing their job.

If Payton was the Cowboys QB, the running game would be in the top five, the defense would be in the top five, the fumbles would not happen, the drops by the receivers would not happen, the kicker would not miss a field goal, the coach would not call for a 56 yard field goal, the injuries would be a thing of the past, and the oline and dline would be as dominant as something the NFL has never seen before!

If only we had Payton.

Denvers Defense is ranked 25th and we're 20th. 15th in rushing and we're 19th (17 yard variance). Tony has been sacked 4 more times and with a much improved O Line. We're ranked 7th OL right now.

DT

Paris Lenon LB
Chris Kuper G
Eric Decker WR
Matt Prater K
Joel Dreessen TE
Champ Bailey CB
Manuel Ramirez C
Danny Trevathan LB
Getting injuries just like the rest of the league. The problem isn't Tony. You can't argue, Peyton is a superior QB. It's just asinine. That being said, yes, our team needs help in more concerning areas than QB. Tony is a damn good QB.

I guess my sarcasm in my last post was lost on you.

I made that last post because of the little kiddie Anti-Romo stans...Of course Payton would make this a better team, but he is not the be all, end all that the Anti-Romo stans want to believe.

Yeah, there was a ramp on my head for that one. I'm in no way an Anti-Romo for the record.

Theyre going to double Witten and Dez. Without another threat we are doomed....

Cole Beasley, Williams, and Harris (if he can even go) haven't shown anything.

Hope they prove me wrong.

Hoping Beasley torches them in slot. Look for Romo to look his way he missed a couple his way against SD.

So Payton on this Cowboy team would be undefeated? Is that what your are saying, Anti-Romo stan?

We would be better than 500 if Payton was the 100 mil Qb on this team doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I imagine they put cromartie on Dez, double witten and try and force us to throw the ball underneath.

I really hope Austin plays and we see Escobar, Hannah and Dunbar touch the ball.

Can you really be that certain it would make a difference? After all, The Chiefs are also undefeated.

Gotta be trolling. You either believe theres a negligible difference between Romo and Manning, or that the Chiefs are a legitimate juggernaut against whom superior QB play wouldnt matter.

Either way..... wow.

MIles Austin isn't an impact player. It's almost irrelevant if he plays or not. The Cowboys have good depth there. They're not going to lose the game because they were a receiver short.

Haven't took the time to read all the blah blah in this thread, but, Miles or no Miles means diddly squat. That guy is a shadow... Not worthy of a 2nd starting spot... Now, if you were to say Bryant out ? No chance of winning ? Then I am on bored. Last game T. Williams easily replaced Miles with no problems. He wasn't even missed. Sorry, Miles is average. That is it. Nothing special any longer.

But, No matter with Bryant or Miles, or Irvin or Pearson or anyone... Without this defense getting any pressure on the QB. Nothing matters. It will be a loss.

I'm afraid to comment but I both agree/disagree.

If he plays and is healthy enough to produce I think we have a good shot. I don't think Denver can cover our passing game at 100% production. Their offense can keep up with us no matter what though.

If Austin hobbles out there and is a decoy Denver is smart enough to adjust and pick that up by the third series.

I don't believe the other WR's have shown "nothing", I just don't think any are ready to assume to #2 role.

Do we even know what a 100% production offense looks like in Dallas, even with Austin? I have not seen it yet this season...even with Austin.

Nice bites Hoof. I am in total agreement. Williams just needs to settle down and let the game come to him. Not try and do too much. Also, the offense has to find new rivers to run through not named Bryant or Witten.
