Gotta be trolling. You either believe theres a negligible difference between Romo and Manning, or that the Chiefs are a legitimate juggernaut against whom superior QB play wouldnt matter.

Either way..... wow.

The Chiefs are a lot better than credited. I'm not a fool. They have seven pro bowlers on their defense. Alex plays smart football. Jamaal Charles is a double threat and they've enough young, solid talent elsewhere to compete. Add Andy Reid with a chip on his shoulder, playing in the AFC where other coaches are not used to facing him and you've got yourself a contender. Make no mistake, Andy knows how to win football games and The Chiefs are no joke. That being said, I am aware Manning is a superior QB. Romo has been sacked 4 more times than Manning and anyone who thinks it wouldn't be more sacks if Manning were playing is an idiot. We may very well be 4-0. He certainly is a better QB and makes those around him better. I am just not sure the O Line is quite up to par for a pure pocket passer though. They're certainly waaaay better than last year and that's enough for Tony. It's a toss to me whether it would be a valuable decision. Now, if I were building a team and I had a young Romo and a young Manning, I'd take Manning without batting an eye.

i'm so shocked that someone would have the nerve to criticize the pass protection this year.

I'll agree that the offensive line is no longer the problem.

I'll save my critique for the offensive system we run that says the offense is going to let the defense dictate terms instead of forcing and taking advantage of mismatches like San Diego did by isolating Carter on Woodhead.

Haven't took the time to read all the blah blah in this thread, but, Miles or no Miles means diddly squat. That guy is a shadow... Not worthy of a 2nd starting spot... Now, if you were to say Bryant out ? No chance of winning ? Then I am on bored. Last game T. Williams easily replaced Miles with no problems. He wasn't even missed. Sorry, Miles is average. That is it. Nothing special any longer.

But, No matter with Bryant or Miles, or Irvin or Pearson or anyone... Without this defense getting any pressure on the QB. Nothing matters. It will be a loss.

Pressure? We're 3rd in sacks. The problem is Coverage.

Do we even know what a 100% production offense looks like in Dallas, even with Austin? I have not seen it yet this season...even with Austin.

2007 was the last time I saw that and it was with Julius Jones lol. Funny enough, 13-3 and Tony threw 19 picks. We need more timed plays. I see Manning saying hut, catching the snap and basically immediately floating it over the top of his receivers or under on the cut routes. They've perfect timing. Especially Red Zone.

I don't know his contract situation but they need to get rid of Miles as soon as they are able.

Too injury prone which makes him undependable. It's gotten old.

Williams was awesome against SD albeit his rookie fumble. Even Dez and Miles had those growing pains early on. If he learns from his boo boo, he certainly showed he can get open and be a viable option.
We have very different definitions of "awesome".

I think Williams will have a big game tomorrow.

Only if the coaches allow it.

All his college highlights shows him running the post or skinny post, go, and flag routes. Those are the routes he made big plays on. For some reason, most routes I see him run in our offense is slants, drags, hooks and hitches. It may be due to JG's crappy offense but we are not having him run the routes he is good at.

I guess so. I suppose a 3rd round should be breaking records? He led the team in receptions with 7 catches averaging a first down per catch. Not a bad showing for a Round 3 who's played four 4 games in the NFL.

It is more important that Miles is able to play vs the Commanders.

This post should instead say "No Sean Peyton means this team loses tomorrow."
