The defense spent 1 extra minute on the field in 2015 vs 2014.

WE cannot simply ignore the defense because we think it will take time to build. That is...backwards.

Our defense was not the reason we won in 2014. People that believe that are fooling themselves, just like Jerry and crew are fooling themselves if they truly think this team is closer to 12-4 than they are to 4-12.

Building a defense so Romo doesn't have to score 35 a game might take some pressure off.

Nothing would help romo more than a defense that's stops the other team, keeps them out of the end zone and gets more turnovers where romo gets the ball more. The difference in time of possession last year was as much about not getting opponents off the field as the offense staying on the field.
What could possibly take the pressure off romo more than only needing a couple of scoring drives a game, getting short fields and getting the opponent off the field and on the bench
