No Room for Bennett (hard knocks) *Merge*

I was among the greatly dissatisfied when Fasano was sent to the Dolls.
Then I was incensced at our burning a high draft pick for Martellus.
Then I mellowed and thought that, maybe, there was a grand plan in not sending Fasano away and not drafting or getting WR: Martellus was a diamond in the rough and with T.O. and Witten, it would be enough in the passing game.
Then I thought that body language was not all that important.

Then came the Garrett/Bennett sideline thing.

This is clearly a guy who thinks he can cruise through camp and become a Cowboy just because of his eminence.

I'm not ready to say "cut him" but i do hope we start showcasing him with easy passes so we can palm him off on another team that is willing to coddle and pamper Martellus.

T.O. or Witten or even Crayton smiling at the camera. OK, they have earned it.

Oh, I don't think he has the talent or desire to be in several camps over the next 5 years and nobody who sees him on this video is going to think he is worth the time or effort.

If teams had this info to go on, he would get taken off draft list so fast he would be up in Canada with that WR - what is his name?

I have not given up on him, but boy does he have a lot to learn - he will probably be working at MCdonalds in 5 yrs once he spends whats left of that 1.2 mill after taxes.

thx. so true. Your comment reminded me that for every lazy idiot we draft there are other hardworking kids who believe it is an honor to be a Cowboy and feel they have to earn their way on every play. (I'm a poet and don't know it.)

Regarding Bennett: what is his talent level like? I'm not up to speed on his draft day write up - is he an unlimited ceiling guy? or is this Scott Galbraith?

He's got talent. That's the only reason he's a Dallas Cowboy. Quincy Carter has talent too, which is why he flits from camp to camp. If (when?) he's ever cut loose, Bennett's bad attitude ain't gonna discourage other teams in this mercenary league.
