I'm not going to spend a lot of time on HBO's "Hard Knocks" this morning, but you have to admit that the Cowboys are coming off as a pretty arrogant bunch.

How did we come across as arrogant? I truly don't see that. We look like pretty much every other team going through training camp.

I am not happy with this pick. It’s early and not wise to make snap judgements so i am trying to not do that but damn, this guy rubs me the wrong way. Then jumps into the game and does the very things the coaches were trying to tell him to fix. He looks like a lazy know-it-all. Hope it’s all camera tricks and smoke and mirrors, but game tape didn’t tell a different story.

Good to hear...he is a luxury this year anyways because we have Witten and Curtis in front of him. While I don't advocate him mocking Garrett I also remember that at age 20 I was not exactly ready to take instruction from alot of people either.

I just think that if he catches on and gets it together you are talking about another big and swift target for Romo to get the ball to. He can go in the slot and just cause havoc for smaller nickel CBs.

I am wondering if the Bennett expose was done at Jerruh's request, to show the kid how bad he looks to others. I wouldn't be surprised if next week they show footage of him excelling and finally "getting it."

Jerruh's too smart not to use something like "Hard Knocks" to his advantage.

I believe Bennett suffers from ADD. When Magic Freakin' Johnson is telling you what it takes to be a winner and you look away, it has to be because YOU CANNOT PAY ATTENTION even if you wanted to.

I believe he suffers from "I don't give a damn". He acts like a child and I hated that draft pick on draft day. No i hate it even more. This guy has a poor attitude and no respect for his coaches or his profession.

He's an immature idiot, but Mont17 is right. Not all these guys come into the league like Felix Jones. If Bennett would've had his attitude and work ethic he would've gone in the first round: which tells you what kind of talent he is. But he's also lazy and complacent. Will he turn it around? Time will tell......

I don't really agree with this. Coaches coach players but they coach them differently and they coach them with different levels of investment. Garrett is obviously coaching Bennett because it has been identified as a focus for the team. He is spending more time with Bennett because the team has invested in him and he is obviously in need of more time spent. However, like anything in business, the investment in this player is finite. I don't believe that we are anywhere near the point where the team will make a decision to stop investing in the player but, that time will come at some point. Of cousre, this assumes that the light will not go on. At some point in any business venture, you have to see return on investment. This time will eventually come for Bennett as well.

Maybe he's not happy with the 1.5 mil ( or was it 1.8?) he's guarenteed, that's the only thing I can think of. i guess I'm naive, but I just can't picture someone being suck a jerk-off for no apparent reason. Every player in the NFL would love to be in his position, he's playing for the most prestigous team in the NFL and he acts like a complete douchebag.
