Was thinking the same thing.

I too noticed the stars along the wall. They looked like they were silk screened to a dark blue padded wall. Cheaply done. But at least it's safe from opponents spiking/throwing the football directly at them and shattering them like when Mike Flurrey of the Lions did so two seasons ago after scoring a touchdown.

That was embarrassing on national TV.
I'm hoping that was just a makeshift design and more permanent looking stars will be added for real games.

As far as Furrey, what was embarassing is our players doing absolutely nothing about it.

Me too. I love the stadium, but confused as to why they'd put up something so cheap looking. But like they say, it's a work in progress.

Do people honestly think the stadium is 100% done?

The logo was going to have to be removed for the Oklahoma BYU game so it was not installed for this game. Not hard to figure out. Now they just have to change the endzones.

From what I understand, there are three different sets of turf. One for the Cowboys, one for college football (wider hash marks) and a third for soccer. The star will be put down on the Cowboys turf before the home opener against the Giants.

Jerry said in the pregame that there are over 24,000 things left to be done with the stadium before it's complete.

Hey genius, they have three different fields at Cowboys Stadium. One for the Cowboys, one for college and one for futbol. Your "they would have to take out the star" is completely wrong, and the cockiness you said it with was embarrassing.

Some people think if the stadium is open for business that it's complete, most know that's not the case.

As far as the logo goes, that will be part of a ceremony prior to the first regular season sunday night against the giants as will the ring of honor unveiling.

you're wrong about the fields...As far as fields go, this isn't the field that will be down for the college games, they have seperate fields for college and pro games, the lines are totally different. This field you saw last night won't be down for OKLA/BYU games, that's a different field
