I hope he doesn’t but history says it is who he is. Tell me you truly believe he is going to magically change. MM is softer than Dak yesterday he didn’t even know what down it was or to call a time out to get a FG attempt. Those 2 will crack under pressure that’s what their history says
I get your frustration, i have the same one with the GM...Im not going to stop rooting for them though so I'm going to root like hell for these players to break the GM's curse...the option of hoping they fail doesn't work for me as a fan i guess..

The down markers said 4. What down would you think it was if your so fing smart?
The refs signaling first down the play was run and McDummy is lost, just the type of HC you want. The first tip off was the ref signaling first down are you that stupid

Dak contract clears about 20M from the cap this year. We could have had a legit RB if this was the intention all along.

No it’s not.

It’s a blow to the team and fans who know the wasn’t a contract based on performance this was a contract based on relevance.

Jerry bought attention for himself -,not Super Bowls to fans.

Not so funny now is it.
Sucks for you fans that aren’t happy about his extension. I’m ecstatic over it.

He will be Russell W. in two years and we will never sniff a Superbowl with his playoff resume. Have 5 months to wait before anything telling. Simple facts.
Well, I guess we will have to what happens in those two years. As for me, I'm waiting for the next game.

you know very well there was no way the money was going to be spent; that is why this took so long. Jethro gave in to everything pretty much.

well, you and I think normally. But what I am saying is, what the Jones boys hedged their bets on. I disagree with it, but I think that's how they were looking at it...THUS the idiotic "all in" comments. Im with you. But in Junya's brain and Jerrah's pickled brain, MAYBE they were betting on Lance to win out. I think when they couldn't kick that can down the road any longer, they had to shiet or get off the pot. Very unconventional indeed. Again, I wholehearted disagree with how they handled it, the process. But glad we can stop talking about it. Jerry played us all, got free attention right up to kick off. Genius, from that perspective.

Yeah, assuming you can get the player's consent.

They are effectively untradable unless you do something to make the situation untenable for the player.

The contract is so player friendly already ($231 mil guaranteed) I am shocked that they had to sweeten the pot even more with the no trade clause.

It's a moot point at this point of his career. History repeats itself with the Jonses.

Romo was kept here approx 12 years, Dak was drafted and Romo was never resigned.

After Daks present contract expires he will have been here 12 years and Jerry will probably draft another 4th to 7th round Qb, or UDFA, or USFL QB and Dak will wind up in the boof.

Homeostasis and relevancy acheived
Yep. Jerry shows us who he is if people don’t want I believe then that’s on them.

Daks deal cleared the way for Micah next. Don't be shocked if we extend him this year. We cleared just over 20 mil in cap THIS YEAR by doing the Dak extension. Heck, they could decide to go ahead and extend our LG Smith right now if they want, which would also clear more cap.

Russell W. went to back to back SB, would have won both had the Seahawks coaches taken the final series off .

Whether pro-contract or anti-contract, we all have to agree that the way this was handled is just silly. It really makes the FO look foolish.

I just don't think Lance was ever actually any sort of negotiating tactic because his contract was up at the same time.

It was a really stupid one if that's what it was, but he was never going to win the job.
