I see so many threads about getting rid of Dak, firing MM and now moving on from KM. The problem is I see no threads attempting to hold the real problems accountable, the Joneses  . The reason why San Francisco beat us the last two years in the playoffs? They have more talent then we have. The board acts like if we had Belichick or Payton as the head coach we would win the Super Bowl. Sorry dudes the Joneses don’t want to bring in any decent free agents. That is the real problem.

I could be wrong. But letting a guy twist in the wind publicly does not bode well for Mr. Moore. If they wanted him back they would have already said so. They clearly do NOT want him back. But they also don’t want to destroy Moore’s chances at landing somewhere else quickly.

Again, I could be wrong but the delay is probably the Cowboys looking into what’s out there and deciding who they want to go after. Coupled with letting Kellen Moore have some time to look without him doing so while “fired”.
it is the Cowboys way

I’m basing my “opinion” on the fact that MM said a couple days ago that he was still evaluating KM and would talk to him directly on Friday, i.e. today. The Cowboys organization have not shown a propensity to string coaches along. If they don’t want them back, they don’t string them along. Again, I hope I’m wrong because I think they need a change. I was expecting an announcement he was gone by 3pm today and it didn’t happen.
And just how long did they let Jason Garret twist in the wind…..for a couple of weeks!!!

Kellen Moore had a top 5 offense with Dak missing 5 games, no amari cooper, no cedrick wilson, gimpy Michael Gallup and broke down zeke elliot. He also didn't have tyron smith for many months. Then Money Maher got the yips. Cowboys ranked 4th in the NFL in scoring. Careful what you wish for.

Dak has been elevated to an untouchable status he is the second coming and if there is a problem find a scapegoat

Moore is looking for another job most likely in the college ranks and Jerry is giving him time to explore and interview. I'm just hoping that the Boys dump more
of the offensive coaches as well.

.......if you want to believe that was good and genius work......try that........we'd definitely be in rebuild mode and laughed at from the bottom.

Makes me think he’s coming back. I hope I’m wrong.
It would be a bad decision. This team will not go further without some kind of change. That needs to be either the QB position or the ones responsible for making the QB better.

It doesn't seem like replacing Dak is an option with his contract. So that only leaves replacing the oc and QB coach, both of whom were not included in the coaching changes so far.

I don't know how anyone can expect anything different next year without some type of change. Dak and Kellen have been together for 7 years. Dak has clearly reached his ceiling with Kellen, and it's not good enough to get this team anywhere deep in the playoffs.

It will be a disaster for any team that hires him as the HC. He's an intelligent guy but he's just now getting his feet wet as an OC. He needs more 18 hour days and McDonald's.
He’s a high school coach at best

I don't think Kellen is a problem. His offense clearly does well.

I want a change because I want to see what someone new can do for Dak. Perhaps rein him in a bit. Perhaps plays that suit him better. Moore is smart but I don't think his offense is great for Dak. Good or bad, we're stuck with Dak for a couple more years, so we need someone to essentially Jalen Hurts him, rather than give him free rein.

The Cowboys have one Superstar in Parsons, a good cornerback and a rising 2nd tier receiver. I think if we can draft a guard/tackle like Tyler and get Steele back healthy, the offensive line could be good. The rest of our team is a bunch of JAGs that have been coached up by MM, Quinn and KM. Those three are top notch. Give them San Francisco and the Eagles rosters in Dallas. Let’s see what happens. We need to hold the Joneses accountable.

The Jones have been skating by
For years!
It's amazing! 2 dudes without much, if any real professional football background can be in charge of a professional football team.
Time to call them out for the amateurs they are.

People want Jerry gone because of his arrogance. Have fans paid attention to “Secret Sauce” Stephen Jones over the years. He knows how to play the game with the local media but “Cap Boy” is all about protecting the gravy train.

But nobody wants him as a HC - maybe the rest of the league is smart
Yeah that must be it

Again no credit on our offense to the oc

All to Thads brother who couldn’t won’t a meaningful big pressure game if his life depended on it….

going to be a long next 3-4 years after they extend him
