I was thinking the same. KM stays on but MM calls the plays.

Then the question becomes if Kellen wants to stay in that capacity and if McCarthy wants to build a new offense or learn the existing playbook and change some things like routes and run designs.

right, if they are doing research and having a deep discussion with Moore, MM ,and the FO about what they want and who might be available to replace moore, if the changes they want doesnt fit moores offense or Moore hesitant to adjust or be demoted in some way and allow MM to call plays and install his offense.
