Brown may not be the Philip Tanner of wide receivers but what is he done so far? In 2 seasons with 3 starts he only has 9 catches for 87 yards. He’s had at least two or three drops. It’s not like he’s not being given some opportunities. He’s only on the roster because they love his size and want to give him every chance possible. Time is running out on him.

The ball was thrown slightly behind Brown forcing him to go back toward the ball to try and make the catch. This contributed to the DB hitting him a tad early. The DB did appear to be playing the ball. It’s one of those that could’ve been called. The fact that Brown had to turn back toward the ball and the DB to try and make the catch is probably why they didn’t call a PI. With Brown turning back toward the ball It appeared he may have initiated the contact.

Dak could’ve put more air under that and Brown could’ve sold it more but that was one of the more ridiculous PI calls not called.

If you watch the play carefully Brown initiated the contact by turning back toward the ball which was thrown behind him. The DB trying to prevent the play and Brown turning back toward the ball created the contact. It could have been called but in no way was that an obvious PI.

He had one Wow game in college and that put him in the mix. There are hotter names, from what I've seen, in the WR corps and the question is how many do they keep?

With as deep as the Cowboys are at wide receiver this is probably make or break for Noah Brown. Last year at this time we didn’t have Cooper or Cobb and Gallop had yet to take a regular season snap. Those are our top three wide receivers heading into this season and there’s going to be a battle for the other spots.

And we have Wilson whom was injured last year, he was having a good camp before the injury.

The group of WRs we have now looks night and day better than what we had at this time last year. There’s going to be a real battle for those final WR spots.

I watched it carefully and it’s a PI. That play is called 95% of the time. I don’t know what you are talking about.

With Gallup likely taking a big step up and having Cooper for the whole year, there is your #1 and #2 WR combo that could lead the NFL. Apparently Cobb and Dak are gelling great. Plus him having another off season and TC with Cooper and Gallup for timing. Dak is familiar with Noah and he is a great blocker, moving him to TE would clear up a spot for additional WR spot but then it leaves you trying to carry 4 TE. 5 if you count Rico. Don't think that will happen. Not sure about some of the other WR other than Wilson and Noah.I think we kept 6 WR last year. With Cooper, Gallup, Cobb, Wilson pretty much making it that only leaves 2 spots. Would like to have someone crazy fast.

That’s your opinion and that play is not called 95% of the time. The ball was thrown behind Brown and he was going back after it which contributed to the contact with the DB. They were both playing the ball. Sure, it could’ve been called but it was a good no call in my opinion.

Dak’s biggest issue is missing routine throws. He makes a lot of clutch throws that are right on the money but misses too many routine throws. If that ball was out in front of Brown it’s a TD.

Mehh, it is called different in each game.. Sometimes they let them play and sometimes they call everything.. I just wish they would call it the same across the board. I do feel bad for the saints though, that play in the playoff game was unreal..

Oh, it’s called but not 95% of the time. Had the ball been on target and not behind Brown it would’ve been a PI. Brown coming back after the ball helped create the contact. They both were playing the ball. The fact that PI’s are called differently is a big reason they’re reviewable now. They’ll never be called the same across the board because too much judgment is involved. PI’s should’ve been reviewable a long time ago.

The saints and the rams game at the end was just terrible. That literally changed everything and was so blatant that it makes it looked almost rigged or intentional..

That was an atrocity but some good came out of it with PI’s now being reviewable. It’s unfortunate that it took an atrocious none call with a SB on the line for the rule to be changed.

Hence the consistency issue with his passing. As far off as I've seen him, he's lucky he doesn't have a lot more picks.

It's a touchdown if he leads him. Ball should have been picked off if the defender is paying attention.

Defender had no chance of picking off the ball. He was so intent on catching up to the play where he was clearly beaten. Just look at his stride and his feet position from 10 yard line to the 5 yard line. He was running full steam to catch up.

He was probably thinking my position coach is going to ream me a new one once I get back to the sideline. Or I am going to be the highlight of this week's film study, and it won't be a game ball they are handing to me.
