If he beats TWill in training camp and they find a trade partner for TWill he can have his roster spot. I think that's the only way really, otherwise hope he makes the PS.

When we signed Deonte Thompson and Allen Hurns my first thought was that if the Cowboys don't draft a WR worth anything that I really hope Noah Brown has a big preseason and forces his way up the depth chart.

I can’t figure out the receiver group. Unless they outright cut Dez, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Especially if they’re looking to draft guys too.

Ive always perceived Noah Brown as a Mohamad Sanu comparison. Never going to be elite, but could be similar in contribution.

My theory on Brown is that I think he may end up getting tight end reps. Wouldn't shock me if he made a position switch.

He is going to be tough to cut because he is quality on special teams. He is really good at blocking in space and they leverage in on returns.

I think they keep 6 WR.

Currently 7. I see us carrying 6. With that many guys, an injury is likely anyway. He'll be the guy on the bubble who gets a spot if a player is pushed to PUP or IR, but gets cut when they come back.

With the way he blocks, someone wr poor is bound to pick him up. Someone also could turn him into an h-back as well. Way too much tape is already out there on him.

7th round picks are not generally bound to be picked up. Could happen. But I don't see us carrying 7 WRs, and he's the bottom of the depth chart, so we may find out.

For him to make the team he needs Dez to be cut AND we do not draft a WR. Cutting Williams now costs us money and cutting him after June 1, saves us literally $0, so he is not on the bubble

It doesn’t look good for Brown with the few opportunities he got last season he had some drops. Even before we signed Hurns and Thompson I didn’t like his chances.

Drops??? he caught all 4-5 catchable passes thrown to him except like one, which the db was all over... so what drops are you referring too?

I watched all 16 games, i missed those drops you are talking about with Noah.
