- I will admit , I'm not a huge fan of him myself...I think he beats himself ala Vinny Intaverde ...However:

His stats are unreal....and his arm is in the breath of some of the all time QB's ...

He was superb and tough yesterday and threw some beautiful passes - IF THAT WAS BRETT FAVRE...THEY WOULD HAVE LED SPORTSCENTER WITH THAT STORY... If that was Favre or Brady or some others Berman would have went nuts over Drew's day - instead, there was MINIMAL mention of how well he played , about how he bounced back like a champ - showed guts and saved the season.

Bledsoe for whatever reason has had a "Yeah But" career - "Did you know Drew has thrown for 40,000 plus yards .....Yeah but ....etc...

The only way he's gonna get props is by leading this team to the NFC Title Game.

If Bledsoe does one thing wrong he gets bashed by us the media my mom and my little brother Carlos who doesnt even watch Football....But if he plays good or great he's just considered a decent QB.

Life has not been kind to Bledsoe.

Did anyone notice the pass on the long incompletion to Keyshawn in the second quarter? I said wow just as he threw it, that was one of the most impressive throws by a Dallas QB I have ever seen. The velocity on it was amazing.

I like the TD pass to Witten, Drew got the pass out quick and threw a prefect strike with a lot of zip to Witten

In my lifetime, I've never seen a pocket passer harped on so much about his immobility ... and Bledsoe is no where near as immobile as Aikman and Marino were at this point in their careers. I can't count the times during the Chan Gailey years that Aikman would just hit the turf immediately when a pass rusher broke free.

I agree. I think Dallas is fortunate to have a QB like Bledsoe. Like most QB's he needs protection and when given to him he can deliver. I watched the Colts game yesterday and Manning could have lunch, read the newspaper and still has time to find the open man. Manning is a great QB but he gets the protection up front and that make all the difference in the world.

Bledsoe throws a pretty Deep ball when given the time. It's the shorter passes that seems to give him fits.

I'm not sure I would agree with this. On face value, from purely an athletic prospective, your probably right. However, I think both Aikman and Marino were much better at getting the ball out quicker. They just wouldn't hold onto the ball as long. Marino wouldn't ever take a sack.

Bledsoe is Bledsoe. People should just get right with that and move on but it will probably never happen.

He does seem to struggle with his accuracy with the short passes but he has proven time and time again if you give his a pocket he will move the ball. Look at the pocket Green had yesterday and some of the passes he missed but you dont hear the same criticism about Green.

According to Peter King, Dallas had no business winning that game.

Agreed. When given the time he can make the shorter passes. Just seems he more accurate when throwing down the field. I know one thing his arm stregnth is still there. That pass to Glenn looked like it went 70 yards in the air.

Really? I hear the media praise him all the time. I think there are times when he maybe holds the ball a bit too long but he is by FAR the best QB we've had sonce Troy!

I like bledsoe, and i think he's better than a lot of the current starting QB's.

People prolly unhappy cause of his age, fans want to see a "franchise QB" one who shows potential and is likely to be with the team for 10 years.

Bet if Henson or Romo started this year and had similar stats to bledsoe and we had the same record people would be crowing bout the qb of the future.

Interesting stat CBS showed yesterday. Since 1993, only Brett Favre had more game winning 4th quarter drives than Bledsoe. And that was before Bledsoe led the team on the last drive. Now he is tied with Favre with 31 fourth quarter comebacks since 1993.
Who'd uh thunk it? No respect.

That has to be one of the most worthless "stats" ever. Quick, name three QBs that have been starters since 1993.

Look at a QB like Peyton Manning this year. I don't think he has a single game winning 4th quarter drive (maybe one vs. Cinci).

Yes, that was a great pass, and the flea-flicker was even more amazing, ... what a gun !

The pass to Witten for the TD was a great pass too.

The crossing patterns to Glenn and Key are hard throws to make and he made it look easy.

I agree that if those throws were made by Favre or some other media favorites, they would be raving.
