This is why these developmental leagues are beneficial to guys like Nooch who just need reps that isnt Sunday night football in Philly lolHe's a much better QB now then he was a year ago. Good for him.
I'm not entirely sure why the NFL doesn't spend resources on a minor league. Maybe they are fine with the XFL and AFL being this for them but there are a lot of young careers thrown to the curb prematurely. This is why these developmental leagues are beneficial to guys like Nooch who just need reps that isnt Sunday night football in Philly lol
College is their minor league and it's free. Major League baseball recently cut a lot of minor league teams because they are not profitable and end up costing money. I imagine same would be true for an NFL minor league system.I'm not entirely sure why the NFL doesn't spend resources on a minor league. Agreed, and it was like we weren't letting him be a QB in that game...I hope it works out for the Nooch. His career pretty much got torpedoed when Dallas threw him into that Monday Night game against Philly as a rookie. He had an all-time horrible performance and it scared the entire league off of him.
I can't speak on MLB because I'm not a big MLB watcher but G League in the NBA is thriving. They are now having top prospects go to G League over college now.College is their minor league and it's free. If he did he would still be here or at least on an NFL roster.Does he have more upside than rush?
and where did Kurt Warner come from? He’s getting a chance in the XFL which tells you where his career is at.
Kurt Warner started in a minor league that’s not where he ended up after he got his shot in the NFL. You just got shot down as always.and where did Kurt Warner come from?
Once again shot down in flames...
He was a TC cut. His first official year in the league was 1998.Kurt Warner started with the Packers in 94
He signed with the Packers in 94, but was released before the start of the regular season. He then went on to the arena league for three years. Warner didn’t land his first NFL roster spot until 1998 with the Rams. Ben DiNucci landed his first roster spot with the Cowboys in 2020 and even got a start. He was given an opportunity and didn’t pan out.Kurt Warner started with the Packers in 94
