Warner was a hell of a bagger at the super market too.
He wasn’t that bad even his rookie year they just clipped his nuts vs PhillyHe's a much better QB now then he was a year ago. Good for him.
It’s not about the nfl, why would a player want to risk injury for less money?I'm saying a guy like Tolbert who they had no intentions of playing last year would've benefited from a minor league system. And injuries have never scared the NFL before.
He wont PS again and again for while.. same crowd was drooling over white last season said how much of a mistake he was to let go and then oops back off the cliff he went. overactions to few decent games in the nfl is ok but to the XFL..nah he will have work to do to not get nervous against NFL DLs..Nooch was our best QB last preseason and was killing it in the XFL this year. Dude was so fun to watch.
Sean Payton sees visions of Romo, I think he may be able to stick.
They wouldn’t get less money. G League players don’t get less money in the NBA they get the same money they signed for. Instead of DNP they would play for their minor league team. It’s not about the nfl, why would a player want to risk injury for less money?
He got an opportunity in camp and wasn't good enoughWhen you’re a young QB and you get an opportunity, you have to make the most of it or it could be your last opportunity. When Kurt Warner got an opportunity, he made the most of it and so did Tom Brady and so did Dak. Brock Purdy made the most of his opportunity despite being Mr. irrelevant. DiNucci got an opportunity and he didn’t play well.
The Cowboys gave him plenty of chances to be the backup and he just didn’t pan out. QBs are developing a lot quicker these days with all the offseason work. Plus preseason is pretty much dedicated to young players. We’re seeing rookie QBs make an impact. He got an opportunity in camp and wasn't good enough
But he is getting to live out a childhood dream by strapping it up none the less and you?Nooch couldn’t play dead in a Cowboy movie.
I'm talking about Kurt Warner. The Cowboys gave him plenty of chances to be the backup and he just didn’t pan out. QBs are developing a lot quicker these days with all the offseason work. Plus preseason is pretty much dedicated to young players. We’re seeing rookie QBs make an impact.
It unfortunately scared the football right out of him at the time. Glad to see he rebounded.I hope it works out for the Nooch. His career pretty much got torpedoed when Dallas threw him into that Monday Night game against Philly as a rookie. He had an all-time horrible performance and it scared the entire league off of him.
Who’s money is this gonna come fromThey wouldn’t get less money. G League players don’t get less money in the NBA they get the same money they signed for. Instead of DNP they would play for their minor league team.
The NFL doesn’t seem to be hurting for money. Nba funds the WNBA and make no money off of it.Who’s money is this gonna come from
The cap is the cap
Who’s gonna fund another league that gets paid the same as they get in the nfl
It’s not possible to have a league paid like the nfl that doesn’t create the revenue the nfl does
He didn’t get an opportunity with Green Bay in 94. Brett Favre was their starter and they had Mark Brunell as a backup. Good luck getting a roster spot with those two QBs. An opportunity is getting a chance to play and when Kurt Warner got his opportunity to play in a regular season NFL game he made the most of it. DiNucci got an opportunity to play in an NFL regular season game and didn’t play well. Tom Brady said years ago if you get one opportunity to start an NFL game you better make the most of it because it may be your only opportunity.I'm talking about Kurt Warner.
He got an opportunity that others don't. He wasn't good enough, but he got better and succeeded his next opportunity.
I want bacon and garlic parmesan breadPasta Fagioli anyone?……..or maybe a nice brasciole
