I watched 5 of Seattles games this year and DiNucci is NOT and NFL QB. He just doesn’t have the arm strength. Talk about a gunslinger, he slung it all over the field in the XFL.He’s getting a chance in the XFL which tells you where his career is at.
Or Dak?Does he have more upside than rush?
I wasn't going to go thereOr Dak?
my gawd.
I would rather keep DiNucci than Cooper Rush. He's a much better QB now then he was a year ago. Good for him.
Man I get he went 4-1 or whatever it was but I'm just not a fan of playing safe and not trying to win. It worked last year but only a fool would think it would work two years in a row. Hopefully it doesn't get to that and Dak doesn't get hurt.I would rather keep DiNucci than Cooper Rush.
Agreed, brother. If Dak gets injured, I'm afraid having the talent limited Cooper Rush is going to hurt us this time around.Man I get he went 4-1 or whatever it was but I'm just not a fan of playing safe and not trying to win. It worked last year but only a fool would think it would work two years in a row. Hopefully it doesn't get to that and Dak doesn't get hurt.
DInucci didn't get the team Purdy did. That's ultimately what this is all about. You better hope you have just enough to look good. He had no business out there as quick as he did. When you’re a young QB and you get an opportunity, you have to make the most of it or it could be your last opportunity. When Kurt Warner got an opportunity, he made the most of it and so did Tom Brady and so did Dak. Brock Purdy made the most of his opportunity despite being Mr. irrelevant. DiNucci got an opportunity and he didn’t play well.
Injuries and payI'm not entirely sure why the NFL doesn't spend resources on a minor league. Maybe they are fine with the XFL and AFL being this for them but there are a lot of young careers thrown to the curb prematurely.
I'm saying a guy like Tolbert who they had no intentions of playing last year would've benefited from a minor league system. And injuries have never scared the NFL before.Injuries and pay
A minor league that’s not even comparable to what they faced in college doesn’t really help much. College is the NFL minor leagues
