College is their minor league and it's free. Major League baseball recently cut a lot of minor league teams because they are not profitable and end up costing money. I imagine same would be true for an NFL minor league system.

I dont know that we are far off from NCAA being part of the NFL... follow the money TV controls what happens in the NCAA, and who basically controls the TV stations now when it comes to football? Rush been in the league for 6, 7 seasons. Rush is a good serviceable backup at best who's only capable of putting up just over 100 yards passing a game.

I believe Nooch has a better upside than Rush.

It is hard to knock Rush after seeing him fill in last season. Rush has something that very few QBs, backups or starters, have and that is the ability to have the team rally around him. The entire team definitely responded to Rush last year and they played well while Rush was filling in.

It is hard to knock Rush after seeing him fill in last season. Rush has something that very few QBs, backups or starters, have and that is the ability to have the team rally around him. The entire team definitely responded to Rush last year and they played well while Rush was filling in.

I never knocked him. I'm just speaking truth about who he really is on the field. I appreciated the way he stepped up, but he has limits and is a backup quarterback for a reason.

Felt we should have kept him over Grier last year (on the practice squad). Of course, I'm always in favor of going with a developmental prospect as your third QB.
