I remember Norm's "Wallow in it, Jerry!" rant.Yep, another local sports personality who was a critic of Jethro.
I’m old enough to recall when he did the Rangers games a few decades ago.
My memory was off a bit. It was actually the "Revel in it, Jerry" rant, and I found it!
Anybody remember HSE? Home Sports Entertainment.Along with Dale Hansen, ..Norm Hitzges has been one of the most inspiring, charismatic and memorable legendary sports radio and broadcast icon of all time in Dallas FW Metroplex.
I've been following the Norm fan bandwagon since his days on KLIF radio .. ive called in and talked with Norm, and i've emailed him several upon several times over
I've enjoyed and cherished his days of the Norm-ma-thon,... NFL Draft ... NBA Draft ..and countless morning shows
He's flat out one of a kind ... and now that day has come where I've always wondered what it would be like with life without Norm .
One of the few in DFW media who consistently Jerry Jones accountable all these years. I'm going to miss his classic rants.
Wait.. where did Sturm go?There was only two reasons to listen to The Ticket.
Norm Hitzges and Bob Sturm.
Now they are both gone.
