Jerry is the best GM in the league. I mean, who's better at cap management and advertising?

I'd like to believe that Jerry giving up his GM duties is the "simple fix" to this problem, but I highly doubt it. Jerry wants the team to win as badly, if not more so, than most of the fans here. Yes, ultimate accountability always seems to float to the top, but I highly doubt Jerry thinks hiring a disciplinarian coach is a negative for him, or these media generated myths that there is a lack of accountability because players go behind the coach's back to him, are really legitimate issues. Jerry is a marketing man first and foremost, and he knows a winning product equals more money.

nothing. it will never happen again. he gave in and let parcells run the show and we didnt win. Jerry was naive enough to think we were a contender in 04 and then completely impatient and force owens on this organization in 06.

Jerry will never allow a team to be built the way many are around the league. He is going to run the show how he sees fit.

parcells didnt win a superbowl with all the power, hence forth no one will ever get that power again and if they do, right when it starts to get good jerry will show up selling something or declaring what the team will win or find a way to put the team in a tough spot like always.

the reality is, jerry will probably do something over the top and search for one player to fix this teams problems like he always has. And the place where he continues to struggle is wide receiver, and we might need a push their next year.

It is what it is.

It wont happen until he's dead, and he's not gonna die anytime soon cuz he's too rich and happy. He's got a pretty hot wife for her age, a brand new stadium, and lots of money. Football is just a game. There's no way it's causing him stress. He's gonna live for many more years, and his ego is too large to give up the front office.

He's not gonna die.

This could be one of those epic failure seasons (like last yr, and from 00-02) where after the season hopefully Jerry looks on the mirror and makes a similar decision as he did in 02, go get a coach who can control the whole thing again.

I've never believed Parcells the coach was a success here, but what Jones did in hiring Parcells was the right thing to do.

It's gonna get really ugly at the new stadium when there are tons of empty seats and threats of blackouts, and thats CLEARLY whats going to happen as this season wears on. Hopefully Stevie tells dad "we gotta do something different"

I think EVERY rational Cowboys fan knows that Rampage: so the thing is this: they'll have to self-destruct and that new stadium would have to be half empty for him to step aside: or.......he dies. I dislike the man but geez.....................I really wish he'd just be reasonable. Stubborn SOB.....
