Very accurate take on bet. Payton handled the OC duties in 2005. He had play calling duty. He left and they brought Palmer in and reshuffled duties.

We have Haley who is like a 7 year WR coach and a seasoned veteran in Palmer who has been a NFL head coach, OC and play caller. I want to see the math on who is handling the OC duties before I give a concession speech.

Per DC.Com

And while it's assumed Parcells will resume playing a big role in the offense again this year, probably even calling plays, much of Payton's coordinator-type duties will be divvied up between Palmer and Haley, promoted to pass-game coordinator.

And likely to appease Sparano for not being allowed the chance to possibly become Payton's offensive coordinator in New Orleans, Parcells gave him the assistant head coach title.

Why do I get the feeling your favorite 70's band was the Spinners?:lmao2:

We did not have an OC.

We still do not have an OC.

The guy who left job title has been split by two guys promoted from within.

Stop weaseling out you lost.

Nope - job divvied up between Palmer/Haley!
Payton called plays - If Sporano/Haley call plays they have job. Appears they as you said divvied it up between Palmer/Haley. Sprano is just running game/AC. Same bogus title Carthon held and he was NEVER the real OC.

This is clear cut as can be.

Payton was passing game coordinator and asst HC.

Now Haley is passing game coordinator (internal) and Sprano is asst HC (internal).

Palmer is QB coach now (external) and Lee got bumped down (internal).

Neither of the guys with coordinator like duties (Payton/Zimmer) were replaced externally.

Who's calling plays for Payton?
DC.com said Haley/Palmer are divying OC role

Sprano or Haley calling plays I'll agree OC job internally filled. Appears Palmer brought in and divy'd up to me - functions.

Naw, just a fun bet of a crow avatar for 1 week.

Nors said he was "on record" that if either of the Coordinators left that Parcells would NOT promote from within.

I offered the bet. He accepted it.

Payton was the Assistant Head Coach. Tony Sparano was promoted today.

8 days later, still hasn't been true to his word here. Just as I expected.

If he reads this and changes it, he will do like the last few days and not post.

This is why he gets so much disrespect.

15 days later and tomorrow still hasn't come yet.

People actually wonder why he gets so much grief. Complete lack of integrity.

The funniest thing about Nors welching on this bet is that he's so quick to point out when I lost a bet. I went ahead and paid my avatar bet even though BnA was no longer here and couldn't pay up had he lost.

Nors is still here, admits in this thread that he lost, promises to pay up, and goes on acting like he has no knowledge of the bet after he spent a week not posting. He assumes everyone will forget the bet.

That's putting it extremely mild.

Probably is, but I can't say what I want to say about it.

You'd see it in the pasture if that narrows it down.
