Dude - you have comprehension issues

I clearly stated he was 236 at DC.com. I clearly stated in past he was a backup at Tampa Bat at 228. DC.Com has Ware at 6-4 251
James at 245

Thats all factual - You keep thinking Als is bigger than James and Ware on your "interpretations" of pictures and sizes.

Your 4-3 ship is sinking - most see it but you.

Only spinning is you - and you are in a tailspin.

Howard thread - priceless bz - I laughed all night rereading that stuff.

Get off the 4-3 boat - its sinking fast. If Als is your life preserver you are SCREWED! Get your Avatar ready - crow time!

Explain exactly what an old article proves about Al over 2 years later, hmmm.

It brings nothing to the argument, it might have been factual in March 2003, but in August 2005 it means squat. You use it as proof Al weighs less than what DC.com says he does, just like the last 200 times you quoted it.

Unless of course you need him at 236 to dispute what the TC pictures clearly show.

What exactly does the Howard trade or 3-4 or not 3-4 have to do with Singleton being too small and getting cut?

I guess it is fair game and germane to the discussion to just throw a Law trade link in the debate as well.

You wonder why people take shots at you?

This is the perfect example.

Too bad I did not join the poll bet.

I was the one telling everyone it was a complete waste of time, because win or lose you'd still act the same way.

I was spot on right, too.

Good night

You can't comprehend FACTS.

I posted dc.com facts
I posted what Als was 3 years ago

You retort with silly pictures and your take on them.

Ware and James are bigger than Als. Your 4-3 dream is crashing all around you! Howard lovefest busted and now your "last" hope at OLB aint a fit. Deal with it.

I rest my case.

This is my last post dealing with your nonsense.

I'll go out blasting your spin apart with you denying it.

team documented facts versus your opinion of players size in pictures. Who is spinning.
Your boondoggle in the desert is at best suspect after what I read here...... But thanks for your opinion Als is Bigger than Ware.

Good chuckle and oh yes you keep ducking this - your 4-3 call is in shambles and Als is in deep trouble in the 3-4. Scares me most you are missing this and clueless to the peril you are walking into!

Notice the lack of support by your clan????? - they are letting you run solo into this trap :)

The problem is, dc.com has been utterly discredited when it comes to their heights and weights... you know that, you've had your nose rubbed in it, yet you STILL insist on trying to convince us their numbers have validity...

They don't, and so long as you insist on clinging to them, you lose... Singleton's time as a starter, perhaps even as a Cowboy, might be limited, but if that's the case, it won't be because he's "too small"...

It will be because there are younger players on the roster capable of making more plays...

Since we are now citing current sources, it should be noted that Burnett is listed at 6-2, 240. A whopping 3 lbs heavier than Al.

You were all over that thread - epic - you said all along it was going to happen. BUMP IT to opinion and lets see!
Okay, let's talk about how I was all over that thread shall we? Can you handle the truth? I doubt it, but we'll try.

Thread begun at 4:45 am my time. I was not the author. You post a total of twelve (12) times before I say even 1 word about it.

I finally post on the subject 51 hours later. That's right sister, FIFTY ONE hours later. Man, that is me all over that thread. Wow, I was out of control. It must have been the hormones.

1st post, page 5 of the thread, 64 posts in. You have almost 20% of the total posts to that point in the thread in a forum of over 3000 members at that time. Who was all over that thread? Hmm?

Topic of my 1st post? An article from ESPN.com's forums via The Ranch Report that the deal was possibly not dead. Now let's ask why would I post that? I don't know, it's a Cowboys forum and it was Cowboys news. String me up I just committed a felony, I should have talked about the Patriots, the 3-4, Ty Law, or something Nors is interested in talking about. Silly me, he already has 12 posts about the topic, it sure seems to me he was interested.

Six (6) more posts from you before I say anything else. Page 7, post 98. What do I talk about? It appears The Ranch Report is upset at me and I respond that I am not worried. Why am I not worried? Because I did not take it from their paid content. Meanwhile you are still running close to 20% of the content of this thread. I still say you must have been interested in this topic.

2 posts later, #100 of thread, I respond to you and your seeming glee that perhaps I am in trouble for doing something illegal. I assure you that I am not in trouble. Look at me, I am running with scissors out of control.

You post 2 more times before I am all over this thread again at post #107. The topic I post on is pretty telling. I explain why I am not in trouble for posting this article on this site. Someone make me stop. I can't stop talking about Darren Howard. Wait a minute, I haven't said anything about him yet. I posted an article and I've posted on why I don't feel threatened. Strange.

I'm back in neck deep in post #111 where I explain to another poster what would make me pay for "inside information" services. I know this sounds strange, but I still have not posted about Darren Howard. Beginning to sense your diagnosis is nonsense yet? If not, you should.

You fire yet another scud and I respond in post #116 to a poster who is wise to what you are doing. I even use the word "agenda." Still don't mention Darren Howard though.

Finally, you reply to me so I respond to you. In post #118. Do I say we're getting Howard, or that I want us to get Howard? Uh, that would be a no. I explain to you why Darren Howard is your agenda. Did a damn good job of it too.

Well, now you and I are in a debate and you say something stupid. That seems to happen a lot when we mix it up. Usually it is a wild statement that I challenge you to back up with a poignant fact and you run and hide and yell "bring it." This time you make the ridiculous claim that the 4-3 doesn't pose problems to offenses and I responded with a History lesson. Post #122 of the thread. I still haven't been a shill for Darren Howard.

Post #125 I respond to someone else, but still don't talk about Howard.

Two more responses from you and I again respond to you this time. Post #128 where I point out that you are evading the points I was making. Holy cow, I predicted that would happen didn't I? Son of a gun, I need a lottery ticket.

Post #129, I take a shot at you and bring up Ty Law not our FS. How crass of me. I mean after all you've only shown your emotions a dozen or so times by telling people that Howard is still a Saint. Coincidentally you're still singing that tune to this day as evidenced in this thread. What do we call that boys and girls? Can you say "agenda?" Say it with me...agenda.

4 more posts by you before I chime in again. Do I even address the topic? Nope. I make a remark about a silly way to post. #141 for evidence.

3 more posts by you before I say something else. Post #151 and I respond to your demands that the thread be unstickied. BTW, the thread was originally stickied to remind posters to post links or sources for the articles and rumors they were posting. It turned into a Darren Howard thread but that isn't why it was posted and it isn't why it was stickied. Funny how the truth of that shoots your conspiracy whining all to hell. But I digress. Let's get back to the topic. Me being all over that thread.

Post #153 I correct someone on my nationality. Still haven't said one word about Darren Howard being a Cowboy.

Post #156 I again respond to say I don't think we will acquire him for New Orleans price demands. It is the first time in the thread that I actually have anything to say about Darren Howard. 4 and a half days after the thread was born I mention the possibility we will acquire him, but I say not at their price. I should have been in a straight jacket and handcuffs. I was all over that thread.

Post #158 I give you credit for finally getting it and say that the deal could happen if they meet in the middle, but if the Saints don't lower their demands it won't happen. It's right there..."not at the demand price."

At that point in time I am done with the thread and do not post again. You on the other hand post 10 more times. Tell me again, I was "all over that thread." Dude, how hypocritical are you? You posted nearly 1/4 of the posts in that thread but have the audacity to say I was "all over it." I'd say it was the pot calling the kettle black but even that falls way short.

Only 1 poster has a post on every page of that thread. Look in the mirror and take a guess who it was. You have as many posts as me for the whole thread in just the last 3 pages of the thread.

Face it sister, you are obsessed with Darren Howard. Do a quick search. I'll bet that of the last 100 times his name has been brought up other than this thread it is you doing it 90% of the time or better. That is what we call obsession. You got it bad for him son. I suggest cold showers.

OK - who stickied is semantics - it was stickied!
You're the funniest spin doctor ever. Lots of threads get stickied. I never have seen you whine about any other thread getting stickied in 3 years. You cry about a lot of stuff, but stickied threads is not something that usually brings out your pacifier and blankie.

For 5 months you've pointed fingers at me over this thread being stickied and my desires to acquire Darren Howard. Your accusations just got flushed by the very post and thread you decided to cite as "evidence."

Karma is a funny thing ain't it?

Burnett is the future. Als has none here and has done a lot of nothing here - is overpaid and not a fit in 3-4.

Hence the bet.

Whether nors annoys me with his department of redundancy department antics or not, whether he is just going for getting reactions, whether or not he is wrong sometimes and does everything possible to get out of admitting it....

IN a scary way, because I guess I am getting norish, I THINK the reason he brought up an article from Als TB days to bring to the argument now is to point out a thing or two here.

1. Als weight is not as much as Bradie James or Wares weight and it is about a one or two pound difference between Als and Burnetts weight. This is according to a few sites I checked out...each site may very on the players weights a tad but they are all about the same difference between each players weight and no matter the site I looked at all had James and Ware being heavier with Burnett being basically the same weight.

2. The reason for bringing up the old article with Al being 228 and now 236 is IMO the idea that he has been in the league a few years, he has been with bill two years and we all know bill wants big LBs and yet he has gained less then 10 pounds since his TB days. Chances are he is like dat where he has reached his max weight as far as muscle mass and not fat go.

3. Pointing out that Al and Burnett are the same weight to argue nors is pointless and I would guess people miss what nors is bringing up (if this is indeed what he is doing) about Als weight in tampa and now currently.
Burnett is a rookie and most rookies have room to add muscle to their frame from season one to seasons 2-3....chances are that both Burnett and Ware will gain weight unless bill keeps their weight at one level.

So in conclusion...it would appear that Al, like dat, has seemed to be at his max weight (playing weight not fat) while Burnett is just a young rook who will most likely gain more weight by next season due to having a full year in the system and another offseason in the weight program.

Now if I am wrong and that is not what nors means then so be it I am wrong.

However it just seems logical that it is what he is trying to say but just having a terrible time getting it across because of a few reasons....one he has an odd way of talking sometimes, two some people see nors name and just get a case of the dumbarse and three nobody (including nors) wants to admit that maybe they are wrong.

Just somethings to think about.

Oh and nors...you can get off your obsession of Hos putting a sticky on that thread....I went and checked myself and he was NOT the one who stickied the thread...I don't need to say who it was but it was not Hos. Actually he did just the opposite lol.

Lets bury this.

Howard is still a Saint. It was in the works, it was a big topic supposedly at Valley Ranch, it was going to happen at owners meetings, then by the draft......

We are going younger and bigger LB's with 3-4 skillset needs.

Als will be gone - thats what I bet.

Size - this is similar to Ellis/Canty debate. Canty is just flat out bigger. Ware clearly is and Burnett has age and frame to PLAY at 250.

Yes - my point was he really was an undersized 4-3 DE. Yes on the Burnett weight angle.

Also brought up the article to point out he was a career backup. This is not a blue chip VETERAN to cornerstone this D. I don't see a role for him. Burnett is going to play. I'm not cutting 3-4 guys like Ogbogu and Thornton for a bad fit.
If vet OLB is needed - he's on another roster right now.....

Noone disagrees that Burnett's playing weight will increase. In fact, you bring up a good point - Burnett will probably be much bigger, by next season. In fact, I, like most I am sure, think that Al will probably be gone, next season.

But the issue is this season, specifically, game one. I have no idea who will be starting, but I will be pretty perplexed to see one of only 2 vet LBers not on the roster, starting or not, because we have a rookie who hasn't yet filled out to his full playing weight.

Noone debates that Burnett is the future - I sure hope he is, because that would just be better for the defense all around. But while Singleton isn't a Pro Bowl LBer, doesn't make a lot of plays, etc., he is an intelligent player who doesn't give up a lot, either. He can be trusted, he knows his assignments, etc. Burnett taking his job makes sense. Cutting him (before the end of the season) doesn't, because he does in fact bring something to the table.

I agree. Singleton is an undersized defensive end.;)
