box score on yahoo has murray down for 22 carries and none for felix.

He looked really slow and ran gingerly on KR. I thought he got a carry.

And he didn't look very impressive returning kicks. He looks slow for some reason gathering speed after receiving the kick.

Dez, on the other hand, looked great.

Murray is a real running back- power, speed, vision, and toughness. I love the way he covers up the ball also. But honestly, we need Fiammetta back. He is our new Moose leading the way. He also has vision and can make a great block at the point of attack.

He is the difference maker in the run game and we need to admit that.

I thought I saw him get some carries too. Its hard to tell between 29 and 28. I thought Felix looked good on that one pass from Romo. As far as him being hesitant on the kick off returns, that's how all of our guys run for whatever reason on kick off return. Ogletree and McCann who are fast and both ran like that.

It was almost like they were messing with us all when they issued 28, 29, and 23 to RBs. Couldn't one of them get a number in the 30s or 40s? :

We need to get Felix more involved with screens. He's deadly in space.

And, again, Dez Bryant has to be more of a factor. 3-35 today. There's no excuse for it.

Yeah I had to point this out in live chat, he had no carries. But I would've liked to have seen him get a few more touches.

Out of the 27 touches by RBs, Felix got 1 catch. I figure we need to work Felix up to around the 8-10 touch mark to give Murray some rest.

He could get seriously injured tippy toeing up into the hole on those returns in the future. HE's of NO use if he's gonna do that. He's either still hurt OR he's afraid of getting hurt. BTW, DeMarco Murray now has 834 yards rushing. 166 away from 1,000.

A little over 33 yards a game the rest of the year to reach it.

It could be his high ankle sprain is not 100 % healed. Those take a while to get right.

I thought Murray took more hard hits today than in all his previous games, combined. We need two RBs to have any sustained success in the running game- three, if we count Fiametta as we should. Felix is clearly not healthy now, which is why he is not a RB1. But he could be a deadly change of pace down the stretch. If healthy, he's our playoff KR, which is a huge, badly-needed upgrade.
