When you can draft two players who will impact the trenches it doesn't classify our draft as being poor. We needed a pass rusher and got one along with an Olineman who will have an immediate impact.
If they both hit, then yes it's a very favorable draft. But you can say that every year. My whole point is that nobody can say that things unfolded were favorable to Dallas. Martin seemed to be our 4th or 5th pick at 16 and then we had to spend a 3rd in a deep draft to come up and get Lawrence. Again, I like the players, but we had to pay full retail and then some.

I don't see it that way. I saw Martin on two separate boards as top 10 value. If anything, Dallas got little lucky he fell to them. Now if they lost the coin flip with Baltimore and they took him at 16 and Dallas is on clock at 17 with no trade partners...then I could see your point.
After round 1 - does anybody really think we have had a good draft ? Does anyone think our front office has done a good job ?
