Lawrence had his best years in and around his contract season. He has been hurt and pedestrian most of his career. Good riddance.

Here's one fact that doesn't change -- the best ability is availability. Those refusing to respect that fact aren't respecting their team's needs. Some teams might allow it to happen, but winners must make sure to only keep the players who agree to play when they're able. That's how it works. Losing is a sad alternative. Pro players must observe playing. It's their duty, otherwise, they're useless. Most guys actually care -- some don't.
Isn't it amazing how some guys have a breakout year on their finally year of a contract?

Next year DLaw will be wearing the likeness of Chief Blackfoot on "throwback" days and chanting "Hail to the Redski..." well, you know the rest.

Yeah, if we have something to play for he came back last week there’s no reason for him to come back literally none I mean look at what just happened to Trevon Diggs got hurt for a second time so I think it’s a circumstance where the teams at the situation is only like what three games left or four games left why bring them back it makes no sense you just take as long as he can to heal and then if they want to bring him back on his team, maybe they can negotiate he wants to be a cowboy if not well happy trails my man.

They all have a firm grasp on when to succeed, and the payoff that it includes.
Of course, some have it more than others. Survival instinct is a powerful thing! :muttley:

D-Law will say all the right things from now until the end of the season how he wants to remain and finish his career a Dallas Cowboy.

As soon as the season ends and he becomes a free agent (and after Jerry and Stephen offer to retain him for around $7 - $8 million / year on a 2 year contract), he will sign with someone else like the 49ers, Chiefs, Bills, Dolphins, Broncos or Texans for $15 million+ / year on a 3 year deal. Just wait and see.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY WHEN IT COMES TO TODAY'S GREEDY LYING PLAYERS!!!
It's all about the money for Everyone involved save the fans! Wake up!
