But google "roy williams attitude" and pretty much every link blasts him for giving up on plays, calling out his teammates, throwing fits on the sideline last week etc.

Anyone even slightly concerned?

I know he wanted to be traded, but that worries me.

Stick one of the Garrett boys on him and tell them not to take their foot off his throat.

Nope. He's going to play on a team where he's got a legit shot to win every week instead of in a city where going 6-10 has to be considered a good thing. He'll love it here and he'll be fine.

Actually, yes-you ARE being negative. Just saying...

Next time-just be honest in your thread title, b/c everyone here is willing to have a variety of conversations on topics. No big deal.

He wants to be a Cowboy. There's a difference.

Same stuff was espoused about Plaxico Burress.

Even though there have been some rough spots, think the Giants regret the signing?

I'm guessing they liked him catching the SB-winning pass, but that's just me.

You do realize he played for the Lions, correct?

oh im THRILLED we got him. He will add a lot to our team

I'm just asking if anyone else had some small concern?

And I recall something about Leonard Davis being a bust for the Cardinals...

big difference in being called a bust, and being labeled as having a poor attitude and quitting on your team.

They said about Randy Moss.

Funny how people change when they have a chance to win.

It is a concern. It probably is not a great concern because Dallas is a good team and Williams want to be a Cowboy. That makes a difference. It is like Randy Moss. I don't think Roy is nearly as bad as Randy, but they both went from bad teams to good teams. That will help anyone's attitude. We heard similar questions about Leonard Davis last year and that has worked well.

So, Dallas just needs to field a playoff caliber team to keep Roy Williams in a good mood. Not a lot to ask. If they don't field a playoff caliber team and Roy begins to mope then it really won't matter in the big scheme.

I cant understand how you guys aren't at least a tiny bit worried about YET ANOTHER player with a huge ego.

yea thats sort of the point of this thread.

Having TWO players in ONE huddle acting the same is what worries me.

I am hoping his ego will be checked at the door. He is the number 2 here. He will be in the locker room of a team of guys just like him..Good players, good people and hungry to win.

The thing I worry is he is always injured. That is my worry with him.

He is going to inject an energy level into the crowd too. This area is a bigger college football market than nfl, that is my opinion anyway and this will bring a lot of extra enthusisam to the stadium.

you ever work at a job that you hated?????? I have and shown very poor attitude he's home now this there are no problems with him IMO.

I've followed Roy Williams for yeeeaaars.

Hes a guy we wont have to worry about.

He'll go a little Patrick Crayton on you every now and then with his predictions but he is a good guy/person.

6'4, big, 4.3 guy. We'll take him.

Size 15 shoe too which is kinda odd lol.

Add Felix, Barber, Owens, and Witten to the mix.

Oh man.
