Not very comfortable with Crayton as the number 2 (Possible trade)

No more force feeding balls to Owens. Romo can actually make his progressions across the field like he did when he first started here. Owens got into his head too much, and made Romo think of him first rather than hitting the open man.

Hurd said it best today.

TO wasn't the only person Romo forced it to...but whatever

Also **** Hurd he just wants to get on the field ****ing bum.

There was TOO much focus on him though. If they didn't he threw fits that drug the whole team down.

Our play making super star WR wants the ball when the game is on the line what a shocker.... The team wasn't dragged down by TO it was dragged down by the inept playing calling of Garrett but whatever....it's easier to put the blame on TO since he's apart of the media focus same with RW.

He sure wasn't the problem.
You don't know near enough about the situation to say that. This is just an extension of a temper tantrum. Nothing more.

I don't see how it's cliche....However, the ramification of the release remains to be seen. We may have instant success or we may have failure and mediocrity for many years to come. Then have to sit back like Donovan and think what could of been.....I could see if he wasn't producing however, he was producing and he put up numbers.

If Romo doesn't get injured his numbers would of been even better. So I don't want to hear that cutting TO will solve this. If anything it hurts us and takes away one of Romo's primary targets and a very productive WR that was motivated and give it his all every time he was on the field.

We do have RW but he's no TO and RW doesn't have the connection with Romo that TO had maybe the off season will change that but who knows. With teams not having to plan for TO anymore they can focus more on stopping the run having 8 in the box and shutting Witten down.

That was the advice of TO shills to those who dared believe he just might be cut.

Ah, I see. I don't get what it means but whatever I guess.

Out of curiosity since I know you approve of cutting TO how does this move improve our offense?

IMO the Offense was too focused on him. This makes Bennett, Williams, Austin, Choice, and Felix more useful and therefore more dangerous.

It also relieves Tony Romo from feeling obligated to keep him happy. Yes, I believe there was a lot of stress on Tony that is now gone.

Congrats on 66K. That's understandable I don't think there was extra pressure on Romo however, I do think that great players demand the ball just because of who they are.

The demanding of the ball isn't the issue. Never has been.

I sent a message to one of my "sources" yesterday. I expressed some amazement that he actually was released. His response shocked me.

TO is garbage. I am thankful.

Yeah, but him getting the ball would keep him happy so it would link together right?

IDK who your source is but I'll take it as a legit NFL guy. So it is surprising to hear something like that. He say anything about RW?

Anyone else agree with me?

I agree with you that I'm not comfortable with Crayton as the #2. Dunno about Austin yet. But Crayton has shown a propensity to drop the ball. Which is strange considering that when he was a newbie w/ the team he was said to have the best hands of any of the receivers. Yet in game time he drops it.

That playoff game against the Giants season before last. He had more than one in that game. One of which was a critical first down catch downfield in the middle of the open field, wide open.

Gonna take some good games from the guy to rebuild my confidence in him.

People said that him getting the ball kept him happy. In the game where we threw it at him 18 times, was he happy afterward?

People said that winning kept him happy. Did he seem happy to you after we beat the Commanders and he was on Deion's show?

He wanted us to run a WCO where he was the featured player. Minus that he was going to gripe. To the coaches, to the media, to impressionable young players.

He's gone. Hallelujah. I thank him for his time here. I truly appreciate the time he took to meet the 5 boys we sent to his 2 camps. I wish him well.

But I'll be damned if I'm going to stand up on my own two feet and act like this guy was a catalyst for success when I know damned good and well that he wasn't and never has been.

I didn't ask him about Roy. He had a show to do and time was short.
