ND should probably fire their DC by the next game. What a horrible job by him.

VanGorder has to get better to suck. The defensive numbers since he has gotten there have been terrible.

He absolutely hangs guys out to dry with his scheme.

In fairness... LOTS of good DCs have looked bad against the Art Briles offense...

Looks like the AP voters have overreacted to the Texas win. It was a nice victory, but I'm not sure they are the 11th best team in the country.

But there is no "accidently" in that rule. That's the point. There was a kid thrown out of a Pitt game last year when he dove at a RBs' legs but the RB dove too and they collided. Kid was tossed because that's how the rule was written.

UT got a big break there as ND should have had the ball first and goal. Probably wouldn't have mattered as ND's defense was a hot mess all night and UT could have kept scoring.
when Buechele threw his pick a ND dlineman put the crown of his helmet in Buechele face, no call. ND scored a TD after the pick, should have been 15 yards and Texas ball. I'll call it even on the calls.

Between the Texas and TCU games I believe I aged about 15 years. What a great weekend of college ball.
