Now, 15 years after ruining what Jimmy built, Jerry has succeeded in ruining what Parcells built.

Bill couldn't have been more prophetic when he said that in a few years you wouldn't even be able to tell he had been there.

Jerry Jones has absolutely no clue what he is doing when it comes to football operations of a pro football team.

He is the worst GM and OWNER in sports.

I say owner because only the worst owner in sports would keep the worst GM in sports.

Even if Jerry did step aside, what do we have to look forward to?

Stephen Jones? Probably more football idiocy from the same shallow gene pool.

Then who after him?

Jerry's moppet headed grandson up in the press box with him, learning Jerry's ways?

This team may not ever seriously contend for another championship again.

get ready to duck

Just keep crossing your fingers and hoping the Boys have a season like the Giants did in 2007, sometime in the near future. That's really all I can rationally find myself doing these days with Dallas. :(

Sorry but how many Super Bowls or playoff games did Parcell win in Dallas.. How is Miami doing? The Jets never won Jack when Parcells was there.. In New England...well we all know who the mastermind is there.. With the Giants George Young brought all the groceries.. I dont see why Parcell gets all this love..

Because he at least started a foundation for winning again after Jerry destroyed everything Jimmy did.

Now that foundation is ruined again, by a megalomaniac that would rather lose his way than win someone else's.

But let's not get this thread off track by letting it devolve into the usual what did Parcells win here.

This is all about Jerry Jones and how he has destroyed the team, yet again.

Typically that's what happens when only 8 of 32 draft picks are still on the roster 4-7 year later and only 1 of 13 FA's brought in are actually on the roster and starting.

Yeah Bill did a great job while he was here.

a foundation for winning? Didnt Parcells leave dallas under .500? im just saying:confused:

I guess it all depends on what you think he inherited, and what you think he left. I mean, do we think these guys suck?

Romo, Ware, Austin, Ratliff, Witten, and James, among others? I know we didn't at one time, because there have often been threads acorss the internet by Cowboys fans, praising them all. Believe it or not, BP had a little something to do with all of them. That's not to say he was perfect, but at least he wasn't the knucklehead that brought in guys like Quincy frickin' Carter. I mean, really? Were they drafting drunk in those three 5-11 season before Bill got there?

They were drafting drunk from the moment Jimmy left.

nah, he brought in Bobby Carpenter, Skyler Green, Pat McQuistan, EJ Whitley, Rob Pettiti, Jacob Rodgers, Bruce Thorton, Stephen Peterman, Nate Jones, Al Johnson, BJ Tucker, Zuriel Smith, Jacques Reeves, Justin Bates, Sean Ryan, Julius Jones (by passing on Steven Jackson), Justin Beriault, Montavious Stanley and Anthony Fasano

Thank god for people like you. your post is right on the money. it's going to make some of the everythings fine people man. but it's right on the money. Jerry is a flatout terrible/pitiful GM.

Jerry brought in about this many horrible players in one draft. There is a guy who literally got a roster spot from a reality show on this team right now because of him.

Bill understood that you build a football team from the inside out, that was the foundation that he tried to put in place. Jerry on the other hand is off in la la land chasing WRs so he can sell tickets. The offensive and defensive lines are in shambles just like they were before Bill got here. Imagine that, the lines suck again and we are back to winning 6 games a season.

And that guy is a really good special teams player.

I thought it was a joke when it happened too, but I have to admit the guy is a quality special teamer. Probably will never be nothing more than that, but there are spots on just about every NFL roster for these kinds of players.

Nope. 34-30 regular season.

Not bad considering what he took over.
Yes with no playoff wins, no division titles. Nothing.

Bill's also the reason Tony Sparano is probably gonna get the axe after next Sunday's game.

Passing on Matt Ryan for Jake Long was epically stupid. And the Fins are awful because their offense is a joke.

31 or 32 teams fail......year after year........

SB or bust.....right? or is it winning a lousy playoff game that is success?

Jimmy didnt build a winner in Miami........and what has Big Bill done since his last SB in 91?

Every GM misses on draft picks......all of them.......

The success we had in the 90's was worked done by alot of people.....Jimmy....Jerry....Norv...etc.....

To say it was just Jimmy is hogwash.....

JMHO :)
