One thing I learned in my 25 year career of crisis response is that a person's previous behaviors are a great indicators of that person's future behaviors. Therefore, nothing will change in DAL as long as Jerry and Steven are in charge.

It’s no secret that having a great season starts with having great off-season. We have now entered the most important period of off-season. NOW is the time when great off-seasons are forged. Not in July. NOW through May.

In the next few weeks, we will see if our front office is serious when they say this year will be different. It won’t happen at a bus press conference, a radio show or impromptu interview at league meetings.

Our off-season will 100% be judged by the action (or inaction) of our FO starting NOW. If they give us another hide out on free agency, taking few chances in trades or cuts, and take another medical redshirt in the draft, we will know nothing has changed.

If they finally take action on a plan to get better through wise and meaningful FA and drafting immediate help in the draft, that’s a good step forward. We will see very soon.

Now is the time. Not for talk or bus press conferences. NOW is the time for action.
