It didn't matter who the Cowboys added; as long as Dak was the starting quarterback nothing changes.
Now with Rush coming in the Cowboys have a chance.
And I think it's what the players wanted, even if they can't say it publicly.
And after the next four games no one will be able to say that changing quarterbacks didn't make a difference.
How much of a difference remains to be seen, but, win or lose, we will see if the team shows a spark that they were missing with Dak.
It will be interesting.
As interesting as paint drying.

It’s amazing to see this talk about Rush somehow inspiring this team.

You guys talk like he’s Baker Mayfield, or the poor version, Gardner Minshew. A fiery, gutsy competitor and natural leader who players simply like having around.

He’s not. He’s just a guy. There are literally dozens of guys who could do what he does. He just happens to be the guy that’s had three years with the playbook.

Don’t forget, the cowboys cut him and the only coach in the league who was interested in even having lunch with the guy was Jason Garrett who decided to give the guy a little cash to sit on the bench for the giants.

Oh, and Trey Lance is terrible as well.

Neither one of them should start for any NFL team and backup is a gift to either one.

If you don’t know what to expect from this team with Rush as qb then your football iq is low. End of discussion.
I heard that noise a couple years ago and it was wrong.

Are we still a Dumpster fire with coop? Yeah....but do try to cheer him on as best as you can manage.

Win or lose at least we will have an offense that has a passing game no matter what the results are.
The Dink and Dunk days are on I.R. ..............................
interesting comment...yet cowboys were
in 2023:
#1 in completion percentage
#3 in total passing yards
#1 in passing TDs
#2 in td%
24th in interceptions
#2 in passer rating
#5 in yards per attempt
#5 in Air yards per attempt
#6 in net yards per attempt

I know those stats just blew your mind..you have zero clue what they mean....and your head is spinning. so first, just sit down before you hit the floor.
and you come across as extremley lazy. not surprised given your occupation and lack of motivation. but next time do a little research before you stick your foot in your mouth.

you are welcome.

Thanks for laugh. "new team." hahahhahahahahahahahahah.

Dude, this thing isn't changing. It doesn't matter who the coach is. Doesn't matter who the QB is. This won't be a new team until Jones boys are gone and even then, it's going to take probably 5 years or so to weed out the jerry jones attitude that the players have.

"new team" LOL!

Did we trade the Jones', coaching staff, and team yesterday? How did I miss this earth shattering turn of events?

I don't "hate" Dak.
He seems like a decent guy off the field.
But he’s not a NFL caliber quarterback.

Yeah, like two years ago when Rush took over after a dismal showing by Dak versus the Buccaneers.
He was in Trent Dilfer mode, at best until he ran into Philadelphia, then we realized how bad he really was

So stop saying Cooper Rush 15 games, because he just was there he didn’t do anything to help with those games. What he didn’t do was lose them.

so stats are meaningless and they mean nothing when they prove you wrong...but they are the most important when they prove your point....
but you have access to the locker room claiming that the players wanted Rush, with zero evidence or proof. just your opinion...just your conspiracy theory passed on as a fact
you have probably reached far behind and deep into you know where to pull that one out.

also your football knowledge lacks, maybe why you don't care for stats because you don't know what they mean.

btw, wins/losses are stats too, and you use them all the time.

It's not a new team, but definitely it forces fat Mike into a new approach and it's one that should've been adopted once he arrived and definitely as Kellen left. He won't be able to have the QB drop back 50 times a game to pass like he typically tends to do. He will have to lean on the run game or die. That's a good thing..

Yeah, and in the playoffs we saw how bad Dak really is.
Every year.
And this year he's played bad against every tough team.

So stop saying Cooper Rush 15 games, because he just was there he didn’t do anything to help with those games. What he didn’t do was lose them.
What he did do was give the offense real production at the quarterback position so the defense didn't have to play alone.
Dak doesn't. He plays great when the Cowboys are dominating, but when they need him to step up he disappears.
Rush stepped up and gave the Cowboys solid quarterback play. Nothing flashy, but solid.
Dak can't do that. Rush is better than Dak.
