Now it's a new team

It didn't matter who the Cowboys added; as long as Dak was the starting quarterback nothing changes.
Now with Rush coming in the Cowboys have a chance.
And I think it's what the players wanted, even if they can't say it publicly.
And after the next four games no one will be able to say that changing quarterbacks didn't make a difference.
How much of a difference remains to be seen, but, win or lose, we will see if the team shows a spark that they were missing with Dak.
It will be interesting.
Hey, remember when you said, "If the Cowboys extend Dak I am done with them"???

I DO!!!!!!

Yeah, like two years ago when Rush took over after a dismal showing by Dak versus the Buccaneers.
It was the defense winning games then, not the offense. We don't have a defense now.

Win or lose at least we will have an offense that has a passing game no matter what the results are.
The Dink and Dunk days are on I.R. ..............................
You think Rush gives us a passing game? Lol.

When are you going to grow up?
STATS MEAN NOTHING!
The stats mean a lot to peeps that don't have access to live viewing due to being priced out on live access so I can understand those that have to rely on stats only when trying to relate in responses.

I'm fortunate enough to view every play of every game that takes place in the league, not trying to brag but I am saying that viewing with eye is very important, much more knowledge can be gleaned from viewing live rather than reading a stat line.

If you don’t know what to expect from this team with Rush as qb then your football iq is low. End of discussion.
Same expectations as with Dak the Loser , whom you defend which shows your Football IQ is super low . Anyone who defends Dak at this point is a joke

Yeah but it's the same defense. We'll definitely do much better on offense though.
Rush controls the game clock much better, its not even close. The Defense will be well rested and will show up . Again showing that indeed Dak does play a huge role on the success of both sides of the Ball .
Dallas wins Sunday . Chalk It

You're not a Cowboys fan, remember?

You're a quitter, remember? Dak did that to you.

WHY ARE YOU HERE??????

Like most people who watch a bridge being demolished I watch to see how it falls.

However, now that Dak is finally out, I do hold out some hope for the Cowboys.

I actually was against signing him. Try again. Seems as if you miss often. Keep missing.

LOL. the inevitable eye test, because you are such and expert and has no agenda to drive....

and the things become clearer perhaps and you see better after the 6th beer!

too dang funny

I'm torn because I want to win but I also know it's not good for next year with you.

You are correct though, the defense isn't going to get gashed during a 10 minute scoring drive and then have to come right back out there after Dak goes three and out or throws an interception. That plays a huge role in some of our defensive collapses.

Why? He doesn't have a strong arm and has never shown to be anything more than a game manager. Even that 5 game stretch he started games in 2022 he only averaged 191 yards per game and 1 TD per game. He had 5 TDs and 3 INT's during that stretch. The defense is what won those games, not his passing ability. You say Dak is nothing but dink and dunk, which clearly isn't true, but Rush has notably lower yards per attempt and yards per catch.

Dak obviously has some shortcomings, and those are showing more this year with a weak O-Line, but to suggest that the passing game is going to take off now that Rush is the QB defies both history and logic.

a Rush led team was 22nd or worse in every statistical category on offense....the very first time a team scored 20 points on us, we got blown out.

Rush needs a top notch defense to support him. without it, he is unable to carry the team. that's why he is a backup and always been a back up. that's why when he was left to be signed by any team, they all passed and he came back to the cowboys as a back up.

I don't think Dak is dink and dunk, but I don't think Rush is either.
But Rush is more accurate and tends to see the field better, making him more apt to keep the chains moving.
Drew Brees had a weak arm, but it didn't matter. He was effective and able to move the teams he played for, and was very respected.
I think Rush can do the same.

They had a defense but now its swiss cheese, cowboys fans as clueless as Jerry
And it may be.
The hope is that with a real quarterback under center the defense will be better because they aren't having to play by themselves.
That's what happened two years ago. When the same defense had to face a real team in the playoffs and Dak did his usual choking, they looked bad.

Im sorry to burst your bubble.
But as long as the miserable JERRY JONES runs this team, nothing will chage
