...along with Osi, do we house the 100% undeniable best pass rusher in the league right now? Do you rank D-Ware that high?

The way Allen has played the last few years, I would rank him higher. Just all the skills he has, he's more complete, whereas most of Ware's sacks are speed rushes straight off the edge. Nothing wrong with that, it's Lawrence Taylor's entire career, I'm just sayin'...

The difference is negligible, tbh.

I agree.

I think Ware is the best all-around defender in the league, but pure pass rusher, its hard to give him the edge over the likes of Allen, or even Freeney. Pure speed rusher, he's on his own, but he doesn't have all the crazy moves (spins, misdirections, etc...). He either burns buy them or pushes the tackle straight back. Maybe that changes this year, or maybe he's just not built the proper way for that other stuff, to long and lean.

Merriman looked like crap last year with out the Roids and I never considered Osi better than Ware.

Mario Williams is looking pretty damn good too.

Mario Williams is very inconsistent and has a lot of hype surrounding he, he disappeared for the majority of the season last year. Just like when he was in college.

Mario Williams disappeared a lot last year? Is that why he had 14 sacks? Is that why he terrorized Roethlisberger week 1 for 2 sacks and a ton of pressures?

Come on now people. Anybody who doesn't think Williams has turned into a hell of a player already is out of their mind. He's as good a pass rusher as Ware is in my opinion, and I happen to think D-Ware is the best defensive player in all of football.

Nobody plays the all around game like D-Ware. He's like Witten in that respect. Maybe one or two guys can do one aspect of his game a little better, but nobody can hang with the complete game of these guys.

I think you can probably throw Kampman's name in the ring as well. In the last two seasons, he's had 27 sacks. Had another one last week against the Vikes.
